Thanks PLB, particularly for:
To me, this is what is frustrating about the weight loss industry. It's trained people to believe that this is a quick and easy process (and that everyone should want to lose weight, which really shouldn't be the case - it should be a personal choice!) But yes, making healthier nutritional choices and dealing with any negative aspects to your relationship with food is a better way to spend the next couple of years than ignoring those things! In my opinion, anyway.
Its something I have to keep in mind. Nothing quick and easy here. Hopefully not too hard, and over time getting easier, but definitely not quick.
Today was a good day, had a bit of a challenge at lunch, my wife's sister came over and fixed stuffed zucchini. She is a good cook, her food tastes real good, but part of her secret is getting as much fat as possible into things, and she is very head strong, you just have to step back and let her cook. My wife figured that out long ago. Anyway I am sure it was the most calorie laden stuffed zucchini possible, but it tasted good, and I did not eat too much. Fortunately it was a late lunch so I only needed a good salad for dinner. Stayed on track for calories for the day.
Sunday
breakfast yogurt 80
cereal 100
2 cutie oranges 80
snack
banana 94
lunch - stuffed zucchini hard to know on this one, it was stuffed with sausage and rice. I did some onlline searching and found 120 to 280 calories which seems low so I guessed 500
dinner - a big salad, no dressing
lettuce, peppers & tomatoes 75
ham 80
guacamole 155
2 cutie oranges 80
Total 1,244 calories
In 1244 Agnes Blannbekin was born in Austria. She is sometimes referred to as Saint Agnes, but was never really canonized as a saint. She was a Christen mystic who had visions and revelations, she was also a prolific writer. Two things about her I find particularly interesting first some of her visions were erotic in nature, and second she was able to talk and write about them without bringing down too much scorn from the church.
