It was a good day, and I did distill the apricot wine, now I have a couple of liters of apricot brandy. Had some tonight, still a bit high, I've become a cheap drunk. Ate well and feel good, maybe too good, tonight.

Thanks Cate, that is too bad. There is some salmon farming here on the Pacific coast, mostly in Canada. I have heard some bad things about that too. All the salmon I have is wild caught. I am sure some of them come from hatcheries, but they are released as juveniles and grow up wild in the Pacific. Not the same as farmed.

It is, it came out 120 proof (60% alcohol) I need to be careful. I did some distilling back in college, but this is the first in recent times. I have a nice little still, so its not too hard. Don't tell anyone, wine making is legal, but distilling it is not, even for home consumption. Hope I don't go blind!

Wow, apricot wine sounds delicious! I don't think I could handle the brandy to drink though my grandmother used to make a berry liquor by leaving the berries out on the sill with some sugar in them. We'd have it over ice cream and get all tipsy and dance and sing to the Andrew Sisters together. I think I had some still parts in my inherited stuff from my family at one point. Our area was known for hard cider. Are the apricots ones you grew yourself?
 
Today was a good enough day. I woke up feeling bad so did not go to the gym. But now I am fine, so back to the gym tomorrow. I ate well.

Good news, I ate the first 2 peaches from our orchard today. More to come...

I binged yesterday, and sure did not want to post about it... Today is a new day, and no binge so far.
