I'm back! I pretty much disappeared after the first week in December, gym trips stopped, stopped playing hockey as well, and also had to turn down what was my goal for May trip to California to play hockey.
The best thing about all of this, is that I've hovered around the 195lb mark - which is basically where I left off with exercise!
I ran into a handful of work, financial and life issues that I had to deal with in December and January. My work life has improved a fair amount, which I'm happy about and it may get better soon.
I've pretty much called it a season for hockey and stopped playing. I don't know what it was, when I was younger hockey use to bring out such a competitive aspect of myself that I had really fed off of and that competitiveness had pretty much gone away by the time I had stopped playing in December. Maybe I'll play in the summer season for something to do - the door is still open to me to return to winter season but I don't know, I'm currently contemplating it.
Oh, another thing - I've quit playing World of Warcraft - tremendous time sink
I realized it was time to quit, and haven't played for 3 weeks exactly now.
Also, since mid January I've been combating a mysterious allergy which I think maybe be something in bread, or related products as its occurred when eating pancakes, pasta, ketchup chips. So far, I'm just getting very mild/annoying little itchy hives. I am currently on antihistamines almost daily but really should go to the doctor soon to get this identified properly, so I can work on a proper diet.
My goal is to lose 20lbs - and once I reach that point - I will re-evaluate and set another. I think this time I will try to ease into it a bit more slowly and not dive into it with around 6 gym trips a week - that may have caused me to fail last time.
190lbs: shirts!
185lbs: shoes
180lbs: jacket
175lbs: new mp3 player upgrade (512mb ipod shuffle is showing its age)
