Hmmm... crazy stuff going on, in this board. I love all the people posting about past experiences and all the support they get. I really think this is going to help me.

So heres a pic thats about 4 months old and 30 lbs lighter than I am right now!!!



Im bad for keeping track of things but the only way to get better is to actually do it right ?

Ok so the way it works is I record all food intake and excercise on my diary ... cant be that hard ...

Just gotta stay on track focus on the goal and do it for ME!

well expect me to be posting here on a daily basis!

Welcome!! I have a really rough time trying to keep track of things. I've started numerous paper journals, trying to keep track of exercise and calories but I always forget about it. So far this forum is working though:)

day 1

breakfast

bowl of rice krispies w/ milk

lunch

12'' sub roast beef

dinner

salad w/tomatoes, pepers, chicken


no excercise ...
 
12 noon ... late start to the day

between 1pm and 5 pm snacked on cut up peppers

5pm turkey wrap

lotz of water during the day

... thats all ...
kindof a messed up day :(
 
no breakfast ... rice for lunch ... and a wrap and fries w/ gravy for dinner

also a mug of green tea

no exercise ... im gona force myself to do it today tho

Well went away this weekend ... went fishing ... long 2 day trip

the whole weekend i was in 5mm NEOPRENE waders ... so it couldnt get ne more physical

sat i ate 2 roastbeef and cheddar chese sandwiches ... can of iced tea

and about 6 cans of OJ during the day ...

Sunday ended my trip with an all u can eat chinese buffet where i carfully selected my foods.... little carbs along w/ lotz of vegies and lots of chicken

going to the gym in the am ... later everyone
 
Have fun at the gym! Don't overdo it, work your way up. And don't forget to EAT! Starving yourself won't do you any good, so make sure you're not going hungry. We want you to lose weight the healthy way!

I am such a procrastinator and this board has really helped me to stay on track. It's fun to read what everyone else posts, and to get tips and advice! Your'e doing really great!

Try not eat too little ya need to make sure your'e eating enough to prevent your body from going into starvation/storage mode! As for exercise I hate it!!!! Try to find things that are fun for you to do. That way it doesn't seem so bad! I luv deep water aquafit, and I'm thinking of trying belly dancing in the fall! Even if the belly to dance ratio is a little off! LOL! :p

ive been waking up superlate the last couple days and my sleep hs been so messed up ... so my main objective is to get my sleep patterns undercontrol again

Monday -

didnt go to the gym as woke up too late and too close to the time for work ...
1pm - 6inch turkey sub /subway double meat/ tomatoes/lettuce/cheeze/mustard

between 1 - 3 ... 1.5 litres of water

at 7pm - had a tomatoe basil wrap w/turkey tomatoes, hotpeppers, lettuce, cheese, and mustard
also had a garden salad w/ light italian dressing

Tuesday -

spent some time on the river in neoprenes monday nite - tues morning ... no sleep

10 am bagel and xlg green tea from tim hortons

12noon xlg green tea

snacked on a handful of peanuts too

6pm turkey wrap had a tomatoe basil wrap w/turkey tomatoes, hotpeppers, lettuce, cheese, and mustard

9pm chicken ceaser salad with a small amoutn of ceasar dressing

now its wed ... 12:45 pm and i havnt eaten a thing ... so im gona go grab a bite cuz all this typing is making me hungry ... and i am gona jump on my treadmill that i rarley use ...

Ok so ... its been a while since ive been on here ... and i think its time to stick to my guns

I have a very specific goal that i feel is attainable.

I am currently 395lbs, started 2 weeks ago at 405lbs. My goal is to hit 280 - 300 lbs by april 8th which is 197 days away. I feel I can meet this goal by hitting up the gym 5 - 6 days a week. I just purchased a new gym membership which i am using to the fullest. The staff already know me by face and name... which is a good sign ... plus I have 4 people who push and pull at me to go so I really have no choice but to go. Plus im talkin to a cute italian girl that goes there tooo ... :D but thats besides the point... regardless this time its for real .. now the other thing that is going to give me a huge boost would be the fact that for the next month im doing ramadan. Now I realize that when your fasting its not the best way to lose weight but... the main concern with that is that your body looks for nutrients and doesnt get it ... eats away at what you have and when you do eat at the end of the night it stores all the food as fat. Which is not good BUT ... TO COUNTER THAT... i finish work at 9pm eat at 7... and work out from 11 - 1ish or 2 ... so i try and burn off extra fat ...

Comments and advice with this would definatly be appreciated.

Welcome back and good for you for getting the gym membership and having so many people for support!

Now - about this fasting thing - I'll have loads of comments, but...I'll start by asking some questions first...

How much food will you be eating total during the day?
What are you planning on eating?
What is the eating/sleeping/workout schedule?
 
the fast works like this ...

from sunrise to sunset there is no food or liquid consumption of any kinds

that includes water

after sunset will be my first meal

I always make sure there is a salad included in the meal ... as well as i always work out late at nite after eating because i dont want to store fat i want to burn it ...
