My first post on this diary and my second ever post on the WLF. I guess I should say a few things about myself and my goals. My name is Alexis, and Im overweight. I am 5 feet 10 inches and weigh 190 pounds, Ive never been skinny in my life, Ive always been on the heavy side. Also, Ive tried many times before to lose weight but relapsed and eventually failed.

My long-term goal is to be fit and become real handsom with a great HOTTT body! Right now Im far from that tho... But its ok because a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step!

My current goal is to lose 30 pounds, I currently weigh 190 pounds, And have some very undesirable and unsightful extra baggage.

So how am I gonna do it? EASY!! The HARD WAY! Diet and exercise. My diet is going to be low on calories, high on fiber and rich in protein. Im still debating with myself to see whether I should post what i eat on this diary for all to see. ALSO, Im giving up any other drink besides WATER! Except milk for cereal... No more SODA

AND NOW ABOUT EXERCISE...

I plan to do this thing called HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING. Ive read is way more effective than regular cardio. HIIT training consists of short periods of intense work follwed by short periods of rest. HIIT training helps burn fat faster. I will fo HIIT training every other day with a minimum of 20 minutes of regular cardio in the days in between.

More info on all of this when i kickoff my weight loss journey ON MONDAY!

good job on quitting soda....i am still addicted to Mt. dew but slowly learning to love water.
be careful with HIIT, from what i read, it is not recommended for beginning people. Good luck to you!
