not well, but that doesn't mean he should pay more ensurance I understand that not a lot of people have a BMI of 35 because of muscle, but put yourself in the shoes of those who do.
Anyways, to me stuff like this always turns into a case of principle. Whenever someone gets treated unfairly because of race, sex, etc, I explode

But the point is that they don't have to base only on BMI. Like they can do it by BMI, then those who are over 30 can report in for a BF% and get a waiver. Of course, a vast majority will be over 30 BMI because of higher weight due to high BF%.

will those over 30 have to pay for that? Probably yes, so still unfair. Sorry, but I don't move, if one person in the whole world has to pay 5 cents more than another for no good reason, then **** the world.

no good reason? i think that nudging people in the right direction about their health is good.

just like i love that they have banned smoking in public buildings, use of trans fats, and now require nutritional info (in nyc) in all restaraunts.

I'm a little split here, on one hand I can see why an employer might not want to pay for additional life insurance for an obese worker but it also seems to be another step down the road of our lives being dictated to us by state and now employers.

Either way, it’s better than most people over here get anyway. I’ve never had a job with health insurance, I’m sure if I even have life insurance anymore

I'm talking about people who have to spend extra dollars either for insurance or for a body fat test when they have a high bmi for other reasons than fat.
