After 6 months of cutting time to bulk!!

Yeah I see what ya mean, that's why I asked for advice. I looked at westside it looks cool. Way more complex than what I've been doing. I'm going to read over it again tonight and start it tommorrow. thanks.

Great decision. Follow the routine for a solid six months.
Figure out your BMR by googling it.
Eat 3500-7000 kcals a week higher than your BMR. Track this through

I'm going to go with westside for sure. Only thing I found strange was that there wasn't alot of direct triceps work. Why is that? Is it because they're getting alot of work from the compound lifts?
I've been slowly raising my calories. My bmr is 2900 so I'm going to start eating about 3400 calories a day and see how that goes. It's hard to get used to eating so much since I've been cutting for so long.

Update

It's been a little over a week since my first pics. I've been slowly raising my calories up and I am now eating about 3300 calories a day. With 40% of that protein, 40 carbs and 20 fat. The hardest part so far has been eating so much. Ive been cutting for six months so i'm now eating 1000 more calories a day, but I'm getting used to it. I've also started doing WSFSB3 and I like it alot. Now for the progress. I've gained 6.5lbs, my calves are up a .25 of an inch, my quads are the same size as before, my hip measurement is up a .25, my stomach is up .5, my chest is up an inch, my arms straight are up .25, and flexed up .5. How is that for ten days? My stomach grew the biggest at .5 inch but with everthing else gaining I figured I gained some muscle. What do you think? Here are the new pics.

I'd lower your intake if you see a trend of gaining more than 1-1.5 lbs a week. Meaning, if your weight goes up more than that every week after the first, having changed nothing else significant. (Currently, most of that weight is probably water and waste and such due to the increased intake.)

Other than that, though, good. But don't worry about the day-to-day. Follow WS4SB, eat clean and in a surplus, and evaluate your progress every month or so.

Most importantly, aim to move more weight every single workout. That's not to say up the weights every time, but you better be doing at least one more rep on your final set every single time. That's a bare minimum, not a goal. Progressive overload! If I can do it during an extended extremely low calorie cut, you can definitely do it while bulking. :)

Other than that, just be sure to come back in 6 months like evolution said and tell us all about how you've doubled all your lifts and gained 30 lbs. ;)

We know NOTHING of his training. It is possible he may have worked his legs in like intensity and frequency as his upper body, but it didnt respond the same, and he "MAY" have failed to make personal training adjustments to compensate.

Those without error cast the first friggen rock.

You can't say for absolute certainty he DIDNT do leg work, LOL. Other than what I stated, your video shows me CRAP. That's right you read that correct: Doesnt show me crap in the context you are putting it. I am looking at it totally differently.

The vast majority would just pass out from an intense euphoric high if they had results like that. Instead some pass out in motivation before getting EVEN CLOSE........before even having a chance in dealing with the negative bodily feedback in the process.

But yet, we have people belittling this dude. LOL.....what the heck ever, lol. But start "smellen" your own hole. It may not be all that stink free.

Additionally, he seems quit happy with WHO HE IS and WHAT HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED........

Many fail just doing that

Wake the heck up.

Oh, one more thing!

ROCK THE HECK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):):):):)

So basically you said, "We don't know if he did or didn't do leg work. His upperbody is doing well."

Stop having your little motivational joygasms interjected in every other word. It's ****ing annoying. Tone it the **** down.

I enjoy it. And if its too much or i just don't feel like reading it, i scroll right past it.

Why don't you make your unpleasant negative BS post as big and easily identifiable, thus avoidable.

Electric eyes that you can't ignore....and passion burns you like never before…(Yes, Liquid you have it all)

I was in search of a good time....hmm, ya...

Just running my game, hmm, ha, hmm..

Caribbean KING now we are sharing the same dream...

And, my mind and heart beat as one......

No more love on the run, I love ya, I need ya.......

That's right all you need is YOU:

What can a beaver teach us?

Lets see:

Have you ever had the chance to watch a Beaver at work? Well, if you haven't, you'd be amazed at what they can teach us all about succeeding at a task. Beavers, whether they know it or not, are masters at setting goals. They see a tree that may be too big to bring down for food all at one time, but they don't give up. They are determined to bring that tree down even if they have to keep going back for a few more bites over and over again.

"The difference between the impossible and the possible
lies in a person's determination."

(Tommy Lasorda)

So what does this beaver activity mean to you and I?

Beavers have a clear goal in mind when they tackle a tree to chew down for future food from the multitude of branches. When you want to achieve something no matter what it is, setting goals keep you focused on the end result. Know what you want, and determine where you are today in relation to what you want. Once you know where you are today, set your goals and the actions needed to get it.

And, very important, don't be discouraged if you are unable to reach your goal when you thought you should. Realign, or rethink your action plan and begin again towards achieving your goal or end result. Stay focused and don't allow distractions to fill your mind or derail you from taking continued action. It's easy to let others things in life throw you off, so be aware. Any unforeseen challenges that crop up are only there to test your resolve on your way to ultimate success in reaching your goal.

"Choosing a goal and sticking to it changes everything."

(Scott Reed)

You have to "Leave it to Beaver". (YOU, Liquid)

He and he only is the stress reliever.

How?

By getting the knowledge fever.

And, then Beaver is the super achiever and becomes a believer.

I don't get what you are on about. Look at and tell me how the legs look in comparison to the upper body. Which training workout tells you to ignore your lower body? WARNING :- those easily offended should not view the video or read the comments.

Let be clear: "Dependent on the person's current physical condition, goals, starting place, health, and available equipment, no good routine should be without leg training.

Got that? :)

My explanation is within my posts, if you don't see it, this is your fault, not my own, done with explaining.

We ALL make mistakes in our journey......If Liquid can absorb some of the "comments" constructively, realize that it is possible that within his routine that some mistakes were made, and correct them, then all is good.

But we must not miss that he has proven the absolute capability to get things done and has many elements a lot people attempt to possess, but never obtain--fully. And, its my opinion one works on this, to bring out improvements in diet and training--where lacking. Because THIS is the CORE that will make things work.

My posts were constructed in a manner to point out that he enabled many tools within himself to accomplish a goal, and NOW he can change certain things and improve himself even better....no more no less, and I didn't have to include any negativity toward the young man. And, a positive approach will go much further with a person in the long run (except when--I manipulated three people). It assists with reducing defense mechanisms and getting through WITH MOST people, with the purpose to help someone in need.

And, one more thing about this Hooooooge thing, LOL:

Getting hooooooooge isnt what its cracked up to be. I am not belittling this goal (this isnt my nature), I am just saying its not what its cracked up to be. I support any one on the forum with goals. If getting big is the goal, okay lets rock on and do this thing! :)

Additionaly, hooooge doesnt equate to strength, insert BIG LOL here. :)

I am 46, I can back squat over 300 pounds, Front Squat over 250 pounds (and I weigh 161 lbs, and this is nearly twice my body weight), some over 200 lbs cant do that..........BOY, I am just a big @ss dude at 161 pounds, lol. :p ;) Boy, I bust up the scale when I step on it, baby!

Oh, did I mention I was old! :yelrotflmao:

OH! By the way I did that 300 pounds PLUS when deficit in carbs (manipulation in nutrients). Possible energy through an over abundant protein conversion, leaving enough for rebuilding? Uh, yes, possible.

So it is probably not even close to my---capability. I am old, and the youngens' should be FRYING MY BALLS for dinner. :)

I am FRIGGGGGGGGGGGEN Ripped…..because I don’t cry like a friggen baby and don't make excuses in not "handling my body's biological affairs" NO MATTER what happens in my life….my goal fits WITHIN, I AM THE BOSS.

And, Liquid doesn’t cry like a baby either……he rocks with the "RIGHT STUFF INSIDE" to get things done. Some fight just doing that…….and for this………Liquid deserves a:

ROCK ON!

Liquid keeps a little rocket in his pocket…and when he needs it, he just pulls it out……..and fricken ROCKS IT!..........LOL.......that was flat........stupid......LOL.........Oh...well. ;)

Best wishes,

Chillen................> :)
