You've lost a lot of fat, but are you weight training at all? That would fill you in better.

i have been going to the gym with a personal trainer for about 3-4 months now. I dont think it shows at all though, im about to drop the PT though, he seems kinda useless lately.

Your PT is most likely trash, anyway. Believe me, there are some GREAT people to talk to here. If you post about your routine and diet, we could definately help you get to that next level.

I think i have posted my diet and routine in the weight loss category of the forum, i got some advice and ive been tryin to change my diet accordingly, but as far as the work outs im just waiting for the time to be up with the trainer so i can do what i want. I can relist it all if you want to know the details of everythig, but im eating 1500cal or so a day..mostly protein. Then doin gym 3x a week with trainer and i try to get 4x cardio per week.

wow you must feel great.

You should read the stickys in my sig.
Up your cals to 2000/day (ish, based on what you work it out when you use the calorie calculator)
This will give you more energy to workout. It may sound like the long way round, but its the healthy way to go.

Eat more, train harder. Otherwise you'll get down to an ideal weight and have no muscle.

Good luck man. read up, then ask as many Q's as you need.
And keep the pics coming, its always good to see how someone is getting on.

Thanks for the encouragement, i do feel a heck of a lot better then i used to. I recently upped my cal intake to around 1800/day, i was eating a very large deficit. I need to get rid of my personal trainer sometime soon bc he is pretty much useless, as you can see from the pics i dont look like i have much muscle at all, yet ive been going to the gym 3x a week since august. He bounces me around doing everything so its hard for me to learn what a good solid workout reeally is. Once i finish with him im hoping someone on here can help me set up a good workout that i can do 3-4x a week. I have been posting most my questions over in the weight loss and nutrition message boards, sometimes it seems my posts go unnoticed though. Ill definitley keep the pics coming, but im not sure there will be much change for a bit, it took me a while just to get where im at now, i figure my goal weight is around 155-160, right now im around 181. Im really hoping to see more weight off my stomach in the next 20lbs lol

Just added another older pic for comparison... not sure if ill ever lose my stomach.. getting unmotivated recently (probably bc school is sucking my will to live away)

You have come a long way man, don't give up now. like Lewis said, up your calories a bit to get more energy and start hitting them weights!

a very noticable difference!! you're doing a great job! listen to falco, he's done it and so can you! take a look at falco's before and after pics, it's amazing! that should motivate you. hang in there.;)

I definately see an improvement from the first pictures. Especially in your stomach and love handle area. You are making good progress. Get them calories up there consistantly and dial in on that weight program and you will be good to go. Keepup the great work!

Hey all, been about a month since i posted any pics. Since the last time i posted i got my calories up to 2100-2200 steady. My macros have been pretty good, and i started lifting heavy. Since jan1 i only lost maybe 2lbs, i still dont see any change whatsoever, stomach is still sagging and love handles still there as large as they were. I dont know much about flexing, but figured id post a front flexing pic for critique, my muscles are pretty small still lol Im 5'6-5'7 around 173-174lbs and my bf analyzer says im around 16.5% bf as of this morning (not to sure i believe it)

I can see some improvements from the last pics you posted. Your lova handles seem smallers and you can tell you been lifting. Keep it up man.

you can both see changes? hmm i must be crazy lol I really just want my stomach gone desperatley, im wondering at what weight it will really start disappearing since ive come from 240lbs and now gettin closer and closer to my "target" weight (160) it hasnt flattened up much. only like 14 more lbs till i get to that goal yet i still have a lot of "trouble areas" (stomach, love handles, man boobs) lol

The weight is coming off and that is good!

Eat clean, do weight training, do cardio and most of all STICK WITH IT!

There are some smart people here to help you get the most out of your efforts. Ask and learn.

Keep it up!
