AFAA Cert?

I've looked around on this forum for a while and I have yet to read anything about the PT cert. from AFAA.. Is it any good? I know it's not ACSM but I'd have to wait until Dec. to get a cert. from them. I also know the cert does not make the PT but I don't want to waste my money. Should I wait to get the ACSM cert or is it worth it for me to get the AFAA cert a few months sooner?
 
I'd work for CPT or CSCS. Those are the two most credible certifications available.
 
It depends. Some gyms are specific about which certs they accept, so check around in the area you will be working to see if it's accepted or not.

In general though, I would stick to the accredited certifications - ACSM, NASM, ACE, or NSCA.
