aero11616's progress

I'm really impressed with how regular you are about going to the gym and sticking to your calorie goals.
I scoped out your pictures too, and I can definitely see the difference from 240 lbs to now, in your belly as well as your face.
I hope things keep going this well for you! It is inspiring. I'm going to keep checking in to keep myself motivated by how well you do!

Nice to 'meet' you,
Rachel

@Kaiser: Thank you Rachel! That really means a lot to me. :D

I had to punch a new hole in my work belt because I refuse to get a new one. It's one more thing to remind me how much I've lost. :) I used to be on the second to last hole at one time, 3 inches away from the new one that I punched.

I ran a 5k tonight in 44 minutes 56 seconds then cooled down with 1 mile on the elliptical that took about 15 minutes. Now I have a blister on my foot since my sock had a hole in it. :(

Did a slow and steady 2 miles on the elliptical today.

Went over my calories for the day in order to better celebrate a coworker's birthday. :D It was worth it though.

I went to the gym for about 40 minutes tonight. Had it all to myself, so I basically just went around to every machine and did a little bit of everything.

A big chunk was focused on the chest press and bicep curl though. Also did a quick half mile on the elliptical in between all of this.

I started on the treadmill tonight, got about 1/4 of a mile in and all of a sudden I feel my left calf sort of pop. Seems like it might just be a minor calf strain. Pushed through the discomfort and finished up 1.75 miles on the elliptical afterward.

Hoping my leg feels better in the next few days (tomorrow would be great).

Didn't go to the gym yesterday because of how my leg felt.

I didn't notice any pain today so I went to the gym and ran 5k on the treadmill then finished up with 1 mile on elliptical.

My leg's a little sore now... I could begin to tell towards the end of my run it wasn't feeling right again so I took it easy on the elliptical.

Aero

Its great to read your determination and how you are pushing through certain situations with great resolve. Well done on the huge weight loss so far and I wish you so much luck in achieving your ultimate goal.

Baby steps, small goals broken down into chunks and we will get there.

Thanks for the support Maizy :3

----------

Ran 1.2 miles on the treadmill then 1.8 on elliptical.

Sunday weigh in has me at 216.4. Yay!

Phew, long time no post... I started classes back again in the middle of August and moved out of my parent's house in October so my weight loss was put on the back burner.

Good news is I've pretty much maintained my weight where I left off in August. A few days ago I was right around 217 (I left off in August at 216). Even though I've kept my weight the same, I can definitely tell I'm not feeling as 'fit' as I did in the summer when I was hitting the gym 5-7 times a week.

My point of resurrecting my thread is to say that I'm going to once again try to start losing beginning in January. Wish me luck!!

Started tracking what I ate again a week ago (12/28/09), trying to keep right at 1,900 calories a day. I weighed in then at 219.

Weighed in this morning at 215.6. I also started going to the gym again. I went to one of the facilities out in the area I moved to for the first time and did 1 mile on the treadmill and 1 mile on the elliptical.
