OK we had our football max day for juniors. on squat i got 365 increasing by 50 lbs since end of season. On bench i got 255. My bench of 255 is tied for highest on the team..now im proud of that because i work my butt off to get where i got. All of a sudden i hear talk like " oh clark just got that because he has short arms." Now my arms are like 1 inch below average. Im sick of hearing this all the time. I weigh 208 lbs and im also hearing stuff like oh u got up 255 cause your bigger. Its like i was stripped of my accomplishment. I work very hard on my lifting and it just sucks when you get excited and then here stuff like oh he has short arms. Its pathetic....today i was doing reps and a football player was watching me and says to a fellow teammate..."Lol.. look how short his arms are" Is there anyway i can prove to them im just plain stronger with or without the length of my arms?!?!? I know im stronger either way cause i put tons more effort and im in there all the time. Did any of you guys have this problem? Cause its really getting to me and it's like making my lifting depressing cause no matter what i do they will come back to that!!!! Alright...hope i didnt sound like a whiner to much !
