Hey guys, welcome to my diary.

I'm still learning about the whole healthy eating thing, so you're probably going to see a lot of errors - but I'm hoping that's where you guys might come in. :)

I'm a 20year old male in England, currently studying Law at university. I'm in my final year and exams are approaching. Eeeek.

I'm basically into your cliche guy stuff - games, comic books, drinking (I'm going to stop this. Sob.). I'm also a keen charity worker and a first aider! Oh and a committee member in my St John division. Save lives people!

My exercise went downhill once I started studying. I used to learn Shotokan karate (got to black belt) and was a keen swimmer. I took up fencing for a while too. Now I'm pretty much stuck reading. I guess I do at least an hours walk every day so that's something...

I'm 5'11" and I believe I'm around 12stone 4pounds. I'm weighing myself sometime this week, when I get to a decent scale, but I thought why not start eating well now? Why do tomorrow what you can do today and all that. The plan is to eat right and hit up the gym! I'm wanting to loose a good stone of fat, and replace with muscle. Short term I'm unsure. I'm looking for healthy goal recommendations!

Ok so day #1 was interesting.

I managed to sleep through my first lesson, woop! Luckily I was awake for the other three! From 10am-5pm I've been pretty busy.

Food wise, this was today:

Breakfast: Missed breakfast [Great start]. I had class and was running late. I tried to grab something for the road but came up short!
Snack: Wild Berry nutrient bar x1
Lunch: I randomly had an orange, an apple and a cube of cheese. I don't know why I had cheese. It was random. It couldn't have been bigger than my nose (weird comparison).
Snack: Pumpkin seeds
Dinner: Prawn in lime and chill on a bed of spinach, rocket and watercress with couscous.
Snack: Special K with breakfast toppings (seeds, dried fruits etc.)

I'm a bit hungry, and don't know why. Should I be?

I haven't exercised today at all - well except for an hour's worth of walking. Does that count? Meh...
 
It doesn't sound like that much food but I'm really bad about other peoples diets. Probably add more veggies with protein to help you stay full. Good luck on your exams!
 
Ok so uneventful day today. I literally just read books. '.'

Breakfast: Special K with breakfast toppings
Lunch: Soy Citrus Scallops with watercress, spinach and rocket
Snack: Apple
Dinner: Sausage and vegetable casserole
Snack: Pumpkin Seeds

Planning on having some miso soup in a second!
 
Reet major busy day today. Lessons and coursework galore

Breakfast: Special K [honey and oats] with breakfast toppings
Snack: Apple
Lunch: Ham and mustard sandwich and apple juice
Snack: Vegetable sushi
Dinner: Spaghetti and meatballs (lean meat)

Not enough vegetables today. Sob.
