abs

hi i was just wondering if its okay to work out your arm muscles and chest muscles 3 times a week and then work out your abs a different 3 days of the week, since somebody told be to chose 3 non consecutive days and only train then(forgive me if its a stupid question i dont know much!).

The general rule is 48 hours rest before working the same muscle group again. So your plan would be fine. A popular approach is to train the abs on the weight days and do cardio on the off days.
