O.K. This is my first post. It's also a little about me.
I've struggled with my weight my entire life. Lack of motivation and drive I suppose. By the time I was out of high school I was 190 lbs. By the time I got married at 21 yrs old I was 215. My husband can eat anything he wants and stays 170 lbs. So keeping up with him I worked my way all the way up to 265lbs. Got pregnant at 29 and reached 300lbs. by the end of the pregnancy. After having him I went back to around 265. I joined the gym but was very agrivated that I only found I gained another 5 lbs. Once I stopped nursing I decided that's it I'm doing something drastic, and I started a No carb diet. For one whole year I ate No bread, No fruit, No Sugar, No carbs, and lost 70 lbs. Got down to 200 lbs. Everyone tells me this was very unhealthy, but so is being 265 lbs. I felt great, I was loosing weight, but I was also very constipated. ALL the Time. Anyways, I very reluctantly got pregnant again, and decided that I had to stop the no carb thing for fear of it being unhealthy for the baby. I proceeded to slowly get back into my old habits of eating anything I wanted. NOT GOOD. I got up to 240 again during my pregnancy. After I had him got back down to 220. He's a year old now, and I've creeped my way back to 225.
So My goal is to.
Continue to exercise, actually increase my exercise... routine.
Eat Healthy. Not No Carb, but definitly low carb. Low calorie is better.
Keep a daily diary of my food and exercise. Try to drink more water.
Keep track of what I'm doing to keep myself motivated.
Hopefully this forum will help me stay motivated.
Thanks for your support.
