about fitness training

is anyone in here a fitness trainer? and if so im 16 and i love everything about health, excercising and the body and i wanted to know, was it hard geting to were you are? and can you give me recomendations on becoming one.
thankyou to anyone who replies

go to college and get a 4 year degree in something fitness/sports medicine related.

also look into NSCA's CSCS certification, which requires a 4 year degree.

All the way....the best way to get in with a solid understanding of the game is college and NSCA CSCS or ACSM....these two are the heavy hitters of the industry....and for the most part....set the standard. Also, get your "hands wet" shadowing some coaches or really good trainers. Believe me it is hard to apply the book stuff to real life.

Goodluck to ya'

thankyou for the recomendations. so that would be good for me to first go into and kind of get a feel for what im doing? and i could branch out after that and do my own thing?

Take a look here:

This is a "blog" that I kept on the forums at Men's Health when I was preparing to take the CSCS exam. It's full of information on getting certified and working in the field.
