Ab Trouble

I hit the treadmill about 3-4 times a week and I run about 2 miles each time, running anywhere from 6-8 mph. Then I'll do at least 100 sit ups afterward but I haven't seen my stomach get smaller. I've lost about 10lbs but it's been 6 months. I used to weigh 160lb but I'm down to 150lb.

I realize doing sit ups won't get you a 6 pack but I thought doing cardio and sit ups will at least get my stomach flatter.

I don't drink soda or soda, one to two cups of coffee and I eat mainly 90% lean beef or chicken along with little bread, pasta or rice.

Getting frustrated, need advice. Thanks.

How many calories do you consume each day ?

basicly its cals in versus cals out.
so you need to either up your exercise by doing more miles, more intensity, more exercises.
or drop your cals lower.
or both

Yeah, as everyone always say (because it's true), you can't spot reduce fat. You are either losing fat or not losing fat, it's going to come from wherever it wants first.

I am having an issue similar to his. I just have this one little roll that runs across the bottom of my belly....

I know my calorie intake and how much I burn....but can't get rid of the thing. I do not, however, work my legs as much(i'm kinda thick there naturally). What will this for my stomach area?????

The general theme I am hearing here is you can't spot reduce, so keep dropping weight. 100% correct. Seems like you are doing that already though...so let's then look at it from left field.

OK so you cant spot reduce, maybe your ab exercises aren't effective? I'm of the opinion that 100+ abs is pretty useless for building abs. Strength endurance sure, but if you wanted big/ strong biceps would you lift a 1kg weight 100 times. I doubt it. Ad some grunt to your abs, do a reverse curl with a 10kg plate, 10-15 times. Make them harder, a bigger stimulus will lead to stronger abs. Do any ab exercise with a bit of load so that the most you can do is 10-15.

I'm not sure this is what you need to get your abs popping out your skin or a flatter stomach but you seem to be doing everything else right and it becomes a process of elimination. Keep dropping the body fat though. Everyone else is right, thats the only way to really get your abs showing.
