AAAHhh My shoulder :S

Hey I was out sailing today on my lake and I fell off my boat and smashed my shoulder i felt a crunching sound like right when it hit with all my body weight and stuff and like yeah it hurt a fair ammount thien but ALOT more like 2night. It kills to move it around like its not unberable but really hurts and it gets worse when u strain it and put weight or pressure on it. This is already my weaker smaller arm so if i cant lift with it in the gym im screwed it'll look retartded my preportions not only that but now i cant do shoulder excersises. I'm supposed to go to the gym on fri and run tomm (thurs). What on earth am i going to do ... :( :(
plz help ......
I depend on weight lifting and fitness to help me keep going and if I don't do it i'll prob get depressed :S
 
I wouldnt train on it and wud just train legs ever other 2days until it recovers fully. If you train when the ligiments arnt recovered you'll make it far worse & it'll take twice as long to recover!

Stop training your shoulder COMPLETELY

wait until it is healed, then start light weights, gradually adding the weight to see if it really has recovered fully, at a sign of pain, stop until healed.

You don't wanna mess with a shoulder injury. Three months of proper healing may sound extreme, however, a weak shoulder for the rest of your life is worse. Trust me
 
wtf. So you mean i might be out of the gym for aslong as that? Because this effects every excersise i do with my right arm it seems. I honestly can't even picture just not going to the gym for that long or hell even a few days. This is insane seriously this is my life my hobby I REALLY want to continue to gain muscle and jog and loose fat and eat right and do all this. So now its gonna be ****ed ?OMG ...?? :(:( PLZ there MUST be something..
 
Yeah I was thinking of that. Well I talked to my mom whos a nurse and she says its bruised and that it should clear up in a few days so I think i'll be ok. Its like I bruised the tissues or w/e but it hurts like a bitch but it will go away soon so that makes me feal alot better
 
to help slow down the process of muscle atropy, work your other shoulder muscles (as well as arm), and your brain will slow the atrophy process in your other messed up arm. thats what you are supposed to do when you like break and bone and stuff.
 
so it was a bone bruse? well if thats the case and there is no other damage, then you should be good to go. next time though if it feels broken or you have some extreme pain see a doctor or your mom :) and you would of had to stay off your shoulder for a long time, otherwise you'll mess youreself up good, Ive seen that happen before. If your impatent like that you'll be out of the gym for good, I know people who did that too.
