A slow runner?

So school started once again and in the end our first PE class we had to run a 100 meters.I didn`t do very well.Well,thankfully i wasn`t worst but i am still unsatisfied.

Is there a fast way to train myself to run short distances fast?I have doing long distance runs lately and i can bear those but i guess that`s a little different.I guess i should mention that i have no weight or special equipment.

I have 6 days untill we do this for a grade and with my previous result i bet my teacher will expect atleast a small improvement.

basically just run fast. As you have no weights or special equipment then just jogging for 5 mins and then doing 4 x100m as fast as pos will help develop your fast twitch muscle fibers, sounds obvious but this is the best way to do it.
 
Sorry you don't have the time before the test to really get faster. listen to Blindside. Maybe a few of those workouts will shake off the rust in time.

think ahead for the next test after and train for that one.

Ah,thank you very much for answering.I wasn`t sure if i would have to do fast runs or just ducking excercises.

I feel like my muscles have pretty much recovered from my last training so i think i might still have time to train once more and recover by the time i have to run the 100 meters.
 
I have actually made pretty damn good progress in long distance running.Today i pretty much doubled how much i would run a week ago and i`m going to take a longer route since i wasn`t tired out by what i did today.
