Like I’ve stated in a previous post, I’ve finally found what kind of ‘diet’ change works for me. In short, I’m focusing on eating anything that I want from fruits, vegetables, and nuts, to fish, chicken, and whole wheats. I made sure to stay away from the sweets and treats my family has shoved in every cupboard of the house, and to have myself focused on that one shelf I own in the fridge containing my personal health foods. I’m very greatful for my mom allowing me that space, and it’s definitely helped me eat healthier. Anyways... what I’ve also stated before was that I’d let myself occasionally snack (like once a week or every two weeks) on any whole, healthy foods. For example, today I let myself munch happily on a small bowl of grapes as I watched Tim Burton’s The Corps Bride (great movie by the way), just so I can unwind and not have to think about my Uni work for awhile. However... as many of you may know: Grapes are pretty darn high on sugar... Good sugar, yes, but it’s still a lot. I’m not fussing about the fact that it will lead me to gain weight, because I feel like it would only cause me to stress out and refuse to eat grapes at all-which is wrong, but because typically even the smallest increase of my daily sugar intake will cause me to break out completely.I would get horrible, cystic acne in my face, back, and arms. And they hurt. Like heck. I can already see one forming on my forehead, and I’m trying every facial cleansing product I have to dry it out before it gets ugly. Sadly, I know it’ll grow to be about the size of a pea, hopefully not worse, and that there is nothing I can do about it. Sigh... Anyways, this post isn’t all about my horrible acne, it’s mainly because I want to try and boost my health condition to a whole new level. Basically, I want to aid my body in detoxification from the INSIDE out, and I’m doing so with fingers crossed that it might help me get rid of my acne faster. (Pray for me .) My current plan is to wake up tommorow and start my day right, by right I mean without any distractions or anyone to annoy me in my peaceful time alone. I love starting my days with my parents, but for this new change in my plan, I feel like I need to mentally prepare myself, and to calm myself down for this first-trial on a new detox plan. In order to detox my body, I want to introduce myself to something called Intermittent fasting. I’ve read many articles on this, and it doesn’t seem like a terrible idea. However, instead of setting a set time range in which I will or won’t be eating, I’m just going to listen to my stomach and eat when I’m actually hungry. I’m going to be flushing the excess sugar out of my system with a whole heck of water and green tea. Maybe I might make some turmeric lattes to help with my inflamed skin (with no sugar), but I’m scared that it might taste like dirt milk. I don’t know, we’ll see ‍♀️. Another thing that I’ll try to do is to eliminate most dairies. Dairy doesn’t really sit well with me, and it causes me to bloat often, but I still have been consuming it in little quantities everyday. I’ve read in different articles that some foods that really help with getting clearer skin is red-orange bell peppers due to their antioxidant properties and from containing a lot of vitamin C, and I’m thinking of incorporating them a bit more in my daily meals. Well, if all goes well, I’ll make sure to post an update just Incase anyone else is trying to look for ways to beat acne.

Good luck with that . I'm sure cutting back on sugar will help the acne as will drinking the water. I suffered from acne too but after trying everything I learned to live with it . Got outbreaks on and off through my life . Mostly hormonal of course . Antibiotics and creams did help but not everyone wants to try them .
Regarding the grapes my daughter washes the black or purple ones and pops them in the freezer and we have a few every now and then . Just suck them like boiled sweets . They are really lovely and you will only eat a few .
