Kept Carbs under max allowance :D
Fat hmmm could have been lower but it was good fats from nuts

I have not been logging food recently but will during PSMF

Yesterday was a public holliday and the family got into doing some cleanup work around the property but while i was slashing one of the paddocks hubby and the kids built a bonfire from branches etc from around where i had been doing some cleanup work with the chainsaw BUT hubby is a city slicker and without saying anything he spashed petrol over the newly built bonfire and allowed our youngest to light it :banghead: well as expected it went boom so i had to take my youngest to the hairdresser today to have his burn't hair cut off.

On the up side I think they all learned their lesson and the kids don't want to have anything more to do with lighting fires lol

:smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:HA HA HA....I laughed out loud to this one:)My uncle made his eye brows disapper, LOL...With the bbq...when he refueld it a cpl times and it wouldnt lite...well it finally lit and when woooosh!

Woosh is right lol

I have bench training today that I should have done yesterday but was postponed due to the training seminar for sports med. Training Intensity now increases and will be training with shirt on today so i am going to have a nice set of bruises later :D

PSMF is a Protein Sparing Modified Fast, it originated as a fast weight loss diet for morbidly obese to lose weight rapidly under medical supervision without loosing lean muscle. It is a popular short term diet for bodybuilders etc. to lose fat when getting ready for competition.

PSMF is not for everybody and not for long term application but it does work very effectively to lose fat fast while keeping muscle.

although I am not obese (I have normal BF%) it is a good way for me to drop the hard kilos getting ready for the nationals. I don't use BMI as a guide for my weight due to the amount of muscle i have. Just my Lean body mass (weight without the fat included) places me in the obese BMI range lol

Ahhhhhh I just googled it and it sounds very much like the Scarsdale diet I was on once.. lost 10kg (22 pounds) in two weeks and kept it off for years, but geeeze louise was it hard to stick too!!!

I admire your commitment :) Best of luck at the Nationals next month!!!!

What is it that makes an athlete elite ? is it dedication, willpower, determination ? is it something your born with ? genetics ? or is it something anybody can become with enough of the right training ?

More and more often i am getting described as an elite athlete but i am not sure i feel comfortable being described this way. Yes I am good at my sport and I have competed at national and state level in several sports but does that make me elite or just blessed ?

to many on this forum i am at a weight they consider gross yet my fat levels are in the normal range. I feel that a lot of people have a hard time understanding me and my goals.

Hi there trusylver, just wanted to pop in and say hi. Thanks for stopping in to my diary. I will read back into your diary, i found your comment about people finding your weight to be gross, interesting... Im presuming you are extremely lean (which makes sense with you being an athlete) but gross seems like such a harsh description. take care ~ Michelle :)

Gross how so?

I think you are a great motivating person who is determind and focused on what your needs are...You do awesome, your dedication to your diet, exercise, comps and etc is amazing:hug2::grouphug::hug2:

Not so much extremely lean, I don't LOOK like an athlete. reading through a lot of diaries and finding soo many coments by very lean members thinking they are fat yet i weigh sooo much more.

I don't know, mabee i am feeling down as tom aproaches, hubby thinks i get depressed for no reason sometimes and he is probably right.

at the moment i am 182 lb at 5'2" with approx 25% bodyfat will know exactly after monthly measurements tomorrow.

I hear ya abt some members thinking they are fat or w/e when they are thin, but what i gotta remind myself is that no matter the size of anyone it is all mental and all them...a 129 lb person feels fat cuz that is how they feel it is there mind set and that can only change by them, i too feel fat and ugly and cant accept myself (just speaning generally, lol) but it isnt necessarily that I am hidious i just feel hidious, LOL...

But ya small wmn complaining abt weight drives me crazzzzy but they are wmn with the same insecurities adn low self body image just like the rest of us...

I like how you look, you are a solid muscual wmn:)

I understand how you could feel like women think your weight is "gross", but you are far from that and anyone who has taken the time to read your diary knows that. Your one of the most dedicated hard working woman I have ever met... not to mention the strongest lol. Your building a strong lean body too, and when were all old and gray they'll be wishing they had built some muscle when they had the chance :p

Keep up the good work Tru :seeya:
