A new me by Christmas

Errrr I went on the scales this morning and it said I'd lost 3 lbs since yesterday.
Right.
I went on them 5 times, and 5 times out of 5 it said 184! Yesterday I was 187 - how does this work out?!
I am coming to the end of my period at the moment so maybe I'm not retaining as much water? It's the only explanation.
I always weigh myself as soon as I get up and have gone to the toilet, and I'm always naked or wearing just knickers on the scales.
But if I have lost that much, then I've already lost over half a stone!!!!!!!!
 
Well done on that 3lbs! Half a stone is a great achievement!!!

It is possible that you have dropped the weight because you have finished your period :) I have mine now and im fully expecting to drop a couple extra lbs after it cos i always seem to do that! :)

You runi looks great! I am so jealous - wish i could go back and do uni all over again :party: They were without doubt the BEST years of my life and i made so many amazing friends and had so many amazing experinces. I also met my hubby there so it all turned out good :) You will have such a great time so make the most of it!!!! And dont worry abt looking moody - everyone does!

I will take my jealous self off now! Congrats again on the weightloss this week :) THe size 12 is ever closer....:biggrinjester:
 
I was correct in guessing my period would end today because it did so that may explain the lack of weight loss on Tuesday and then the sudden loss today!
I really hope I'll make friends at uni. I can't help thinking that nobody will wanna know me :s don't know why! And I am really scared that me and my boyfriend will grow apart :( :( I have no reason to think we will but the last 3 years we've been together I've been at the same school and he has too.. he isn't going to uni because he didn't get the grades but he's working full time. Luckily my uni is relaxed about having guests to stay so Anthony will be able to live with me on the weekends :) Eek I'm stressing again haha.
 
You stress wayyy too much! You will def make lots of friends at uni - especially if you're staying in halls :) Everyone is preety much in the same boat and you will prob find that you have too many people around you! (i used to hate not having any time to myself)

You and your bf will make it work. Weekends and holidays, and remember that you're only really in uni for 9.5 months per year!

I am the self proclaimed Queen of Stress lol. I never stop stressing, there is always something - at the moment it's A levels. After I've done them it'll be results. After results it'll be (if I got into uni) worrying about uni. At uni it will be workload... etc etc etc :p I have diazepam for when I get SO stressed that I have panic attacks (yes I am that bad, haha) but trying not to take any til after my exams at least!!! Thing is that I come across as really laid back and calm in real life - IDK how I do it lol.

I'm in halls, there are about 7/8 rooms in each corridor and a communal kitchen and apaz everyone meets up in there everyday so yeh :) Oh and there are 2 night clubs on campus and lots and lots and lots of bars :D should be gooood!! Mmhm I am actually living at the uni for 31 weeks cos I have to leave during Xmas/Easter/summer hols so I'll just go back to Essex with my parents.

Where did you go for university? Loads of my friends are going to Cambridge :eek::eek: scary stuff and my school made you feel sooo stupid if you didn't apply to/get into Oxbridge.. lol.

Nothing to be done, sorry. :( I went from a 34DD/36D to a 32B.

I am also going to record what I ate and what time I ate it as well.. today I forgot to eat breakfast because I was getting stressed (LOL) about my room cos it was in a massive mess so spent an hour tidying that. So....

12pm - an apple
3pm - some grapes and cherries
6pm - special k bar
8pm - battered cod and chips with curry sauce :eek: (today can be my cheat day cos of the fish and chips)

Lost another lb today :D I am getting closer!!!
I have another incentive to lose weight!! At university you can join societies, which I think are like clubs, and there are literally LOADS to choose from. I have decided that I am going to join the Pole Dancing Society!! Hehehe firstly cos it's verrrrrry good for toning and strengthening and it's sexy too :D They put on shows during the year at the nightclub and guests can come to watch so when I told my boyfriend he said he wanted to come and watch haha. Typical him. They also have a Dance Society, which does dancing ranging from ballet to hip-hop. I have had dance lessons in ballet, tap, jazz and modern since I was 3 but had to give up in 2006 because of my ankle, but I think I am going to try and start dancing again! I especially like the look of hip-hop dancing and I like that sort of music too :) So that's another incentive!! I really can't wait now; I honestly think that the thought of going to university and being one of the sad, fat people is making me do this the most along with my health. I'm so excited!

- Special K bar
- 3 crispbreads
- ginger biscuit
- baked potato with tuna and sweetcorn mayo

Hey everyone, hope nobody has forgotten about me! :eek: :p

Today I have been revising non stop since 9am so now it's gone 4 I've stopped because I feel my brain overloading. My first exam is on Thursday then I have one on Friday too :( boyfriend's coming over Friday night and leaving Sunday morning to give me time to revise cos I have a 3 hour one the following Tuesday.. eek. Then a bunch more after that. Not good. VERY STRESSED. I feel like I don't know anything! :(

Anyway today I have eaten a crispbread (38kcal) with jam (about 80kcal) for breakkie and vegetable soup (190kcal) for lunch. I've not really been hungry today. Hope everyone is ok so bye for now X
 
Tum te tum. It's getting quiet in my lonely thread! haha.

Sooooo today I have done well, had about 1200 cals in total, I think just under. And it was quite balanced too! Had all 5 portions of fruit/veg and chicken for dinner so had my protein there. Lunch was a bit weird, I had a bag of raw baby sweetcorn then I made home made garlic bread (it was a small portion) cos I was craving it.. so yeh, strange lunch!

Haven't lost anything else atm but hoping for an lb tomorrow! X

Hey hey! Looks like you're doing great and those societies sound great, I'm so excited for you!

Just a friendly hint... Please try not go under your 1200 calories (as I notice you do sometimes). It will slow down your metabolism causing you to stop losing weight. The day with all the fruit veg and right protein sounded great! Have a beautiful day!

thanks for the advice. Yeah I try to eat about 1250 - 1300 a day, I have been trying hard.

Today so far I have had...

oatmeal for breakkie (about 300 cals)
and vegetable soup (from a dry mix) 70 cal and some white bread roll (guessing about 20 0 cals)

dinner I *think* is sausages, hope not though eurgh! If it is then I will ask my mum if she can grill them instead of bake them cos I don't like baked sausages (I'm fussy, trying to get over it!) cos they are all soggy and very oily!!

I am going to buy a workout DVD in a couple of weeks once my exams have finished. Thought about getting one now but I won't have time to do it because I need to study. Which is why I am going to get off here :D

Yep will do - liking the Ministry of Sound Pump It Up workout. I love MOS and I think it would be more of a fun thing rather than a chore to work out to them!!
