I figured it was high time for me to step up and lose some weight! Not only for me but for my kids. They need a mom and I am cheating them out. I started my diet on Monday January,12Th I have been eating more greens like instead of eating lettuce I eat baby spinach with cucumbers, tomatoes, a little cheese and dressing. I drink juices. .100% only. I have actually been making my own juices like they do for the raw food life style. They are SOO good!
I am the type of person that doesn't have to eat I get carried away with whatever it is that I am doing and forget to eat and then when it comes time to make dinner for the kids I am starving. NOT GOOD!! I know that is my problem. If I can make changes in my eating habbits and stick to them I know I can lose weight, never tried before but I know it can happen.
My normal routine used to be wake up 6Am drink a pot of coffee mabey have a pepsi some time in the afternoon dinner rolls around I eat while I am cooking and then sit down to eat with the kids and I have a plate or two of portions the size as big as BOTH my fists. after dinner and the kids go to bed I might have a litte chips or something sweet I never really have over indulged on snacking I know my limit but mabey that is only because I ate so much dinner. .lol then I wouldn't go to bed till between 12 midnight and 3Am.
MY NEW ROUTINE. . .wake up 6Am Drink one glass of warm water and lemon juice have my coffee as regular. .since starting this warm water thing I think I have tricked my body into thiking it has already had coffee so I have noticed I haven't been drink an entire pot latley BUT it's not cut out completley yet. I have juice after one cup of coffee and get full and I am usually good for a while after that as long as I can get my water in. It's still hard for me to stop what I am do ing and go eat something so the juice really helps with that I just prepare it before hand and then I have it. It's always easier to grab a drink then to prepare something. hmmm Guess I'm just to lazy. .lol. .so anyway around lunch I TRY to just have the spinich salad or mabey a half of sandwich on whole weat but usually I just grab some juice because It's easier. sill trying to drink water throught out the day.
by dinner time I make my kids dinner and when we sit down to eat I grab a dessert plate and put my main dish and and side dishes on there mostly with vegis covering my plate because I do love me some vegi's. I am trying to make it to bed any time before midnight. That's about it for now. I know it's not a lot but It has been working for me just feeding my body with some fuel in the day time I think has helped because since Monday I have lost 4 1/2 pounds!!! Today is Friday. I know how my weight fluctuates and I understand this is mostly water weight and that is okay as long as I feed myself the fuel I need during the day and not over eat and dinner I think we can do this. .I want to also say that I am tryinig to fit more excersize in. I have a stair master I do for 15 to 30 minutes and the wii fit running for 30 minutes not everyday but I do try to squize it in as much as possible. okay well enough rambeling form me for one day. . . .blah blah freakin blah okay I am done I am over it I put the damn chocolate back in the freezer were my kids found it because I won't eat frozen chocolate. . lol. and ate an orange instead. . yeah me That my friends was my first real choice I have had to make when it comes to food. I haven't had chocolate in so long and I don't even think about having any until it sits and stairs me in the face pleading with me to just take one bite. .then we all know how that ends.
so anyway I didn't think I did that great yesterday but I did manage to drink only 1 1/2 cups of coffee then for lunch I had a half of Pepsi and then for dinner I had 1 1/2 slices of pizza with a salad and water then my arss went to bed at 10. today I managed to have the same amount of coffee then some friends and I had a farewell lunch and I hate half of a cordon blue and rice with lemon and a salad and some apple juice to drink. .I have yet to eat dinner yet I am still so full from lunch but strangely I have lost 2 pounds I don't know, weird. anyway still need to catch up on my sleep so I can start on my Tae Boe this weekend. ..night all
