A new Journey awaits

After lots of research I have finally made the first step Yes I paid up front and am going to give Cohens diet a run. I have been on Sureslim about 6 years ago and went from a Whopping 110kg to 75kg now after (not going to make excuses just mention facts) hormone therapy to have another baby (no regrets) and eating alot more food I am now weighing in at 94.8kg and as hard as I know it is I am NOT going to go into triple figures again not for anything....Not even CADBURY's yep I am a chocolate lover lol.

Fasting on Thursday night Blood tests on Friday morning and hopefully pick up my program on Monday. Did think about putting it off until after the festive season but really I dont want to be a few extra Kilo's and have more to worry about I get so depressed when I feel I have to wear big jumpers to cover my fat buldging stomach and I guess the reality is that everyone around me pays for me not being happy about the way that I look and its not anyone elses fault but my own. I would love to get down to 69kilo's I am so excited for this journey and feel if I have an outlet like these threads I would love any support and encouragement that anyone is willing to throw my way. So to all who are on the same journey as myself I send your way Will and Determination.....GO FOR IT IT IS YOURS...........Keep you posted....

Hey there,

Thanks so much for the reply...I hope your journey has found you many triumphs.... I am off to pick up my new life style program today at 2.30 I am so excited but I also realise there is room for so much change. I think I am also going to struggle with having a 2yo....As she eats often and well I tend to pick when she eats..... But I am up for the challenge and I know that I can do this... So close to having lapband surgery and to tell you the truth I really dont want to go down that road and know it is not the easy way out as these people still have to do all the hard work or they pay....vomitting and stuff. not nice..
I have done it before and I WILL DO IT AGAIN. I have about 25 kilos to lose and look forward to seeing the new me again... I miss that person and I think my husband does too. I understand this journey I am not on alone and it affects the whole family NO dinners out and well chocolate in the house it is going to have to be a NO NO (Cadbury lover) Did not want to wait to take this journey after christmas why put off today when it is only still going to be done....... Again thankyou for your reply it is nice to know we are not alone on our journey I will keep you posted and please keep me posted and we can support each other....

Take care

Hey Strabz :)

I'm an Aussie too and am now a somewhat reformed (well 7 weeks) Cadbury lover. I used to knock over a family block by myself no worries!

Best of luck on your journey mate, we have a few similarities. I always wore man t shirts to cover my fat rolls on my stomach :(

I started out at 88kg's and am hoping to get to 64kg or so.
I wish I could ban chocky from the house but the kids love it (in moderation of course) and I just pretend it's not there :) The hardest thing I have to say is smelling it...:willy_nilly:

Hey for the weight loss tickers you just go to thetickerfactory and make one up.
Best of luck, hope to hear of all of your success :) I haven't heard of the Cohen diet, but yes you CAN do it!!!

Hey Healthy Jess,

Thankyou for the words of encouragement I am on day 3 of the diet and I must say it is not as hard as I first thought must be due to me being alittle lover of being told what to do LOL....Reformed Cadbury lover I wish I could say those words but the truth is I love that I love Cadbury's and I will one day eat some again but yes your right in Moderation.....Fantastic effort for you to have lost 8.6kg that is awesome Congratulations not far off now. I have been told for my height I should weigh 60kg I know when I was 73kg I was starting to look abit drawn in the face.... might look at that when I am at around 70kg I want to look good not sick....
Thankyou for the advice on the ticker I will give it a go I am not really that into computers but I will have a play around with it., Please keep me posted on your sucess also I get weighted in 1.5 weeks I must say I am pretty excited to see the results....

Take care
