A new beginning...

yes its about 80z or 2500ml i wouldnt drink more for each 10 pound that does sound excessive and it can be dangerous to drink too much

you seem so well motivated newleaf wtg:)

Hi NewLeaf! You're doing so amazing! Good job hitting the gym so early this morning. I went at 8 am and I thought that was early, haha. Your weight loss is inspiring to all of us, congratulations and keep up the good work! Your friend MJ.

Awwww thank you guys!! This means so much to me to see all of your posts and congratulations for my loss. Really keeping me motivated! I couldn't of gotten on this wagon without all of your support so thanks you guys!! :)

Two pounds? You are doing awesome!
As far as dropping your calories AND upping your cardio... my suggestion is that you do one or the other for a week or two and see how you change. I think upping your cardio a little is your best bet... I really hate to see you drop your calories that low this early on. You are very muscular and your body is going to respond to the working out better than getting too little calories. Up your cardio to thirty minutes OR do twenty minutes of cardio and a circuit training workout with weights... if you need a workout that gets cardio and weight training in, all in under an hour, let me know and I'll design something for you.
Also, I know there are differences of opinion, but I SWEAR by doing morning cardio on an empty stomach.
I'll be getting up in the morning... will you? ;)

gotta agree with more cardio here. I can hardly wait until I am in shape enough to jog, cuts my workout time a LOT! fast walking is my preference, but jogging sure helps me in a pinch for time.

5 am heck no :) I tried it for a week, wayyyy to many people at the gym tho. I like going at night when I'm one of about six people lol. but good for you !!!

Hey Paula, thanks for the tips! I'm going to have to chat with you about the upping cardio etc to see what will be best! :)

I WISH I could get my cardio in this morning, I may be able to. I have family visiting down here from Michigan the rest of this week and they arrived at 4:50 this morning! So I'm up for the day, and they went and rested. (They drove straight through the night!) So my goal is to drag my sister to the gym with me today!! :)

So now that they are here, I am up and want to eat! I bought yogurt covered almonds for my FH and I'm itching to eat them, but I'm really not hungry. so I've had half a cup of coffee and now I'm chugging some water while they rest. I think I'll do some abdominal crunches too! :)

I forgot the fam was coming in today... does this mean you're off work the rest of the week?
Well, I'm up (barely) and headed down to the treadmill (yawn). Do your best while they're here but don't beat yourself up about the little things. You still have plenty of time til your wedding and not that much further til you reach your goal, so enjoy yourself. I'll check in later...:)

Good for you girl! Drag em to the gym & show them all that this is priority in your life. I have to do this w/ my family or they dont take me seriously...I also think this lifestyle is all about making time for yourself when life gets in the way...if you cant then you wont succeed. Just my thoughts

Hi again guys! :)
Paula, yeah I'm off of work, but working from home on a few things so, keep your eyes peeled for me on Yahoo here and there. :) Online researching some sthings this morning so far and since the family rolled in at 5am this morning, they are now sleeping!! :)

Kat,
Totally!! They're actually being very good since they got here, and my sister already asked if I walked around my neighborhood because she needed to exercise and that she would hit the gym with me too! I'm so happy.

Thanks guys!! I'm having a great time with them. Finally caught up on much needed sleep today! :) My sister is totally up for exercising with me. And I after I hit the gym this morning, and thought I'd only be able to pick up a day pass for her, but I got her a week pass. I'm so excited! :) Plus I plan on taking them for a hike today. And I think I've done really well resisting temptation with al of them eating whatever they want around me. :) I've got regular soda in my cupboards, chips, all sorts of junk and am not touching it! :)

wow, your resolve is what is going to get you to your goal! To have foods like that and to say no! I just dont know if I could do it! Wait a minute...I just remembered that I have some cinnamon rolls in thefridge. Know what? Thanks to you, Im going to make my family a big breakfast on Sat morning(I generally do anyway) and make those for them, and let THEM enjoy those, because Im going to make me an omellette with one slice of bacon for a treat!

Good for you that your sis is going to0 exercise too! I wish mine was closer. She is having a tough time of it, but I think she's getting more and more into a mindset of losing weight.

Keep on keepin' on, and make today a great day, and before you know it, the days are weeks, the weeks months, and YOU at goal!

You are doing so good girl! I am so proud of you doing GREAT around the temptation! You can do it!
