Sheidi, Thanks so much!! :) Doing well so far today and motivated to go to the gym after work (granted I say this as its only 8:45am right now!!)

Breakfast: Onion bagel w/ cream cheese 250 (just don't go smellin my breath!)
Coffee: 1 cup
Lunch: 1 cup of broccolli cheese soup (yup again!) 170 calories
Snack: 1 cup of rice chex mix (150 calories)?
Afternoon snack: puppy chow (200 calories roughly)
Subtotal: 770
Dinner: 1 cup of broccolli cheese soup 170 calories
Snack: puppy chow 200 calories
Total: 1140
Trying to stick to 1500 a day roughly. And I am so hungry right now! Still need to go home and make dinner, and I'm not even sure when my FH will be home tonight. Last night dinner wasn't until 8pm and he still wasn't home! :)

Oh well for every tummy growl I hear, I think of that being 1/10th of a pound lost!! :D

Exercise: 30 minutes biking hill intervals, 15/20 minutes lifting upper body weights, 100 crunches 15 minutes stretching

Ooh I feel so good for hitting the gym tonight. I felt a wee bit bad for leaving my FH with two scruffy wound up dogs while he is sick asleep on our couch. Poor baby! I hope this early bedtime does the trick for him, hate to see him sick on Christmas!

Hey Sweetie just checkin in on you. Nice to see someone so motivated on a monday mornin..LOL. Food looks good by the way gotta love those onion bagels but your right they are brutal on the breath. Anyways hun hope you have a great Monday.
 
Hey Julie, thanks so much for the support. Really seeing you gu ys post in my diary/journal is really keeping me on the right track. And yeah surprisingly I am motivated for Monday. Even after my alarm did not go off, I got up 45 minutes late along with my FH who needed to leave earlier than usual ..ahh :) Great way to start Monday.. but it will only go up from here!
 
Hey hun! Just checking in on you! I'm glad your motivated this morning! I am sort of! I have already went and worked out this morning but I'm just not in the mood to diet today! Hopefully I will do Ok today.. I weighed my self this morning at the gym and I have not lost anymore.. and haven't gained it back either so that is alway's good!! Hope you have a great day today!! What is "puppy chow"??
 
Puppy Chow is a little goody my sister introduced me to, and I think you can find it on the boxes of rice chex cereal too.

Its something like taking a cup of peanut butter, and cup of chocolate chips, melting them down in a pan, then pouring in cereal to coat with the peanut butter and chocolate.

Once this is done, quickly remove the coated cereal into a paper sack or some type of bag filled with powdered sugar. You toss it in the bag until all the pieces are coated. And wala! Yummy little high calorie treat.
 
Ahhh... Ok.. I think I used to make that back when i was in middle school.. I'm almost positive we made it for one of my classes! It sounds really good.. but I think I'm gonna pass on that right now.. If i remember correctly I'll start eating that and will not be able to stop! lol...

Snack: rice chex 150 calories
Lunch: sandwich & snack 355

One cup of tea also
Dinner: 297 rice,veggies, and a snidge of sausage
Dessert: puppy chow
Total calories approx. 1200-1300


Exercise: up and down my stairs 10 times. abdominal crunches 100.
Couldn't make it to the gym.

Hey hun! Just stopping by to see what your up to! I've never had the Fruit n' Yogurt parfait from McD's ... It sounds good.. but I'm not much on the taste of yogurt! I can't seem to get motivated today... I started getting a cold last night.. and so I just got out of bed about 20 minutes ago! Hope your having a great day!

Lucky girl sleeping in. Sorry to hear you have a cold though. :( FH did the same thing yesterday. He came home at about 6:15 and fell asleep on the couch until 9, went to bed at 11 after that and slept through until 6:30. Poor guy! Feeling a bit better today he says.

I'm doing OK as far as food goes today. Really feeling like a chub bucket today. Wearing some pants that usedto be too loose, and now are snug or uncomfortable. So its keeping me motivated to stay in check. Hitting the gym tonight. A little down, after some "wedding planning" drama, which is another long story. It trly makes me want to elope I have to admit! Alas! :D

I'll update my food diary later tonight. Hope the rest of you guys are doing well!
 
Well I'm not thrilled. I'm not having the best day today. Food wise was OK. I just didn't make it to the gym as intended. FH had to work an hour later, so it delayed everything and the gym closes at 9. I wouldn't of gotten in anything worthwhile of a work out. So i guess today is sort of my "day-off". Which means I'll be working out in some form Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. My dogs need their walks! :)So that'll happen.

Kind of an emotional day for me with wedding planning and disagreements with FH. So I'm feeling emotionally drained and wlel that didn't get me to rush to the gym either. Unfortunately. Luckily, I haven't binged on food to make up for it. I do want to just get to bed early tonight. Well I hope veryone else has had a pleasant Tuesday. I'll have to catch up on everyone's diaries tomorrow.
 
Puppy chow is the root of all evil!!! It's worse than Lays Chips(can't eat just one) Can't eat just one handful! Oh, but it's sooooo goood! Sounds like you are doing absolutely fanstastic. Don't let the wedding plan issues cause problems. There will always be disagreements and the bigger the plans the bigger the problems that come up. Just remember the point of it all! I'm really happy for you and very proud of you for working so hard to reach your goals!
 
April Thank you so much! The supportive comments here, REALLY help keep me trucking. :) Now.. could someone come HIDE my scale from me?! I got on this morning. At least my weight is still the same! But I am not supposed to officially weigh in until Sat morning. I will weigh in tomorrow morning for our "challenge"!

( I made them myself yum! & need to find a low fat recipe for these suckers!)
Snack: Crackers 80 calories
Not eating a single office Christmas goody out of being a bit down: Priceless!
Lunch:a cup roughly of last nights dinner 200 calories
Snack: puppy chow. yup. 150 calories roughly
Midafternoon snack: fruit n' yogurt parfait 160 (doesn't taste much like yogurt yogurt.its good!)
Subtotal: 890

Dinner: a bowl of home made chili (calories?)
Dessert: puppy chow and a few cookies.
I slipped off the wagon..but more onm that next..

I've gotten my "mess" straightened out I think! And will be discussing it all with FH tonight. I am definitely hitting the gym tonight too.

I am giving myself a "cheat day" come Saturday, Christmas Eve. I want to start a tradition with my FH that I had growing up. A yummy Christmas breakfast. And I'm going to have to restrict myself after breakfast though and all day for Christmas at his mom and dad's! Ooh that could be trouble! :D
 
Ok. <GULP> I am officially as of tomorrow cutting out all diet soda drinks. Attempting to limit anything containing artificial sweetners and aspartame. Lord help me.. I hope I have the strength to do this!!! Since I'm nto going to waste precious calories on "regular soda" !! :)
 
You can do it Hun I have always benn a diet pepsi Addict now I allow myself one a day but dont usually end up having one or only sip it and drink Half. Trust me it gets easier. Now Ican take it or leave it. Hope you have a great day today Sweetie.
