A new beginning...

Good for you, girl! Stay positive! Put that little evil number out of your mind and concentrate on positive changes in your life. You did great on exercise today, that's one goal achieved, and you'll strive to 10,000 steps today - another goal to concentrate on. Seems like there's a lot of good stuff in your life, so don't let the number define how you feel or who you are, because there is so much more to life! Like with eating, we have to remind ourselves sometimes that we loose weight to live, not live to loose weight... :) Plus, think about all these demons you had to overcome in yourself recently, all the struggles you went through and realize that you are achieving a lot.
 
NTL thank you.. ! I am trying real hard not to think of that evil #. Maybe it will change for the better tomorrow! I'm trying to be SO good on this darn food thing. :D
 
New Leaf!! So sorry I've been MIA. I explained on my diary. That number means very little. You're a trooper and I loved reading all of your affirmations. You just seem like such a neat person. Someone I'd be pals with if we were geographically near each other. Keep up the good work and let me know how WW goes. I'm thinking of starting it in May if my plan for April does not work.

Hey Dana! According to Cassie, a pork chop is 6 points! I couldn't believe it! I thought pork was good for you. :rolleyes: I am planning to make a list of foods I eat often or will probably be eating, get the number off the online list and then compare it with what Cassie has in the book. I don't know. We will see how this WW goes. ;)
 
Dana, You are doing great and you will continue to do so!! You have come a long way already! Ya know those pages I emailed ya? You can take them to a copy center (or adjust your printer) and copy them in a smaller print and carry them in your purse. Just a thought :D Don't let the points or my Nutty Buddy in the post above scare ya away!!! LOL You can do this!!! :D
 
Hey Dana! Yay... It's getting so much warmer this week!! Maybe winter is finally gone so we can get outdoors some! I can't wait to go walking with out having to wear my long johns.. lol... By the way.. Your doing great no matter what the scales say!!

Aww..thanks you guys!!! You are all so sweet... I'll tall ymy WW points int he morning...tonight wound up being a very late night painting the kitchen. lol.. we picked a contrasting very bold blue to go with our chocolate brown.. its interesting!!! I'm not sure we're sold on it yet..but.. can't say we didn't try fun colors!! lol!! oh boy!! :D
 
Oh man! You all have me so confused on the point thing. I'm intrigued. I probably will avoid eating just so I don't have to add and count - lol!

good morning sunshine!!!! so, the painting went well? sounds pretty...i might have to pick sid's brain on colors for my house as i am not creative that way at all but want to expand our painting and stuff....we'll chat ;).
hope your morning is going well so far...i have a meeting this am but then i'll email you (hopefully it works today!). :)
 
Ok. ok.. so this morning is a screw up! Well sort of. I still plan to keep at 1200 calories. Which may be a challenge, but I have to do it. I wanted a scone and coffe and I had them. So I will account for those calories! :)

Ok, now as for Weight Watchers. I think the program is great, and I don't want o offend any of my WW buddies, but right now with my life and the wedding planning, its too hard for me to calcuate the points, versus looking at a pkg of something and knowing what my calories are. So I REALLY want to do this and I think I will focus on it AFTER the wedding in June. That's just like 10 weeks away. So.. please forgive me ladies!! I really do appreciate all your great help Cassie, HH & Tina!! :D I'm sorry I'm bailing uh at the start on my THIRD day!! But I'm just, delaying it. I will keep my calories at 1200 and my cardio etc going though! :)

Water: 76 oz (look at that water go up!)
Exercise:30 minutes hill intervals on treadmill & 20 mins upper body weights.
Breakfast: Grande non-fat cinnamon latte 350 calories, cinnamon scone 470, 820 calories :eek: Not much for the rest of the day! oops!
Lunch: salad w/ minimal dressing 300 calories
Exercise: Ran 25 minutes with Winston.
Steps: 13895
Dinner:cup of crock pot meal, 310 calories
Subtotal: 1430 calories


Hmm an 80 calorie dinner. lol! :D

Note: No lower back or hip pain today! YAY! Only frustration is that my poor doggy seems to have some sort of skin thing going on. I realized after his bath last night that the hair is even thinning out there. So I really need to get him in to the Vet's soon. :( Bummer! Hope its nothing too serious.
