keep that super low impact - you dont want to aggravate your hip any more than it is!!!! time to heal/rest it up. You've been doing a lot of exercise the past few weeks consistently so you may need a break. I know, it stinks, i'm right there with ya!

So the interview.. weeel.. it was really informal and lasted about 15-20 minutes! I got asked a few question sby the employer and then shown around the office by the current office manager. She's taking on a new job because its more pay and just an overall better opportunity for her. So its a very laid back office, but... I dunno. My gut isn't jumping at it. So we'll see! Thanks to all of you for all of your GREAT support!!! :)

Good morning guys!! :) Yes wedding plans here I come! I am really excited. I leave work early today, to take my doggies to the kennel :( I feel bad about leaving them today! But tomorrow morning we fly out at 6am, and in the late afternoon I get my trial hair done for the weddin!! WOOHOO! :) Ok.. but enough boring you with wedding talk... I will dish on all of that later when I get back! :)

I am REALLY slippin off the wagon to be hoenst you guys. :( I mean I've resorted back to scones at Starbucks and Latte's. :( The last three mornings. Its so bad, but I am totally binging. I need to stop!

I have not been to the gym today or yesterday at all. My hip felt great yesterday afternoon and all evening. It was SO nice. But it set back in this morning while riding into work. :( So.. a little pain so far today. I Just keep thinking I need to not exercise to let the strain heal. And its TOM again too. That doesn't help my eating cravings. I jsut want sugar sugar!! ;) SO.. trying to get back on track tomorrow. It might be hard as its my mini-vacation, but I need to do this. Plus.. my family all knows I"m tryin gto lose weight, so they will be my "overseers" :)

Wish me luck ladies..wish me luck.. lots to do today, getting ready for our trip tomorrow. So I apologize right now if I can't get to everyone's journals, and if I disapepar over the weekend. We're not bringing our laptops as to avoid the hassle of airline security, so my logon ability will be pretty limited. I wish you all the best weekend!!! :D
 
Dana I hope you have a wonderful trip, I can't wait to hear about it when you get. It seems a lot of us lately have had a problem with getting back on the wagon. I think maybe Monday everyone should start fresh. What do you tihnk?

Y'know what. I apologize if I offend anyone with this next commentary, but for my OWN sake, it needs to be said.

SCREW MONDAY!

I'm starting right now. I'm not going to put it off anymore. I am starting RIGHT now. Saying Monday is giving myself the opportunity and permission to binge all weekend. At least thats how I'll tell myself its OK. Its not ok. I need to stop. :) So really this is a lecture to me.. but, I'm starting right now. I will not eat the rest of the day, JUST to eat. I will eat when I am hungry. :) I will not use hunger to feed my emotions, only my energy. I am stronger than this.. this dinky little eating disorder WILL NOT control me!! I am a bigger person than this. I can beat this! :) Paula can beat this. WE ALL can beat this!! :) Yes binge eating , FEEL MY WRATH!!!!


Phew... I feel much better!! :D

Hello, My name is Dana. I'm 28 years old. I"m a self-confessed binge eater. I do not purge. I exercise to wipe away my sins. I eat when I am sad, stressed, frustrated, happy, tired, bored, etc. I eat to fill something. It does not fill anything. It leaves me more, sad, stressed, & frustrated. It does not make me feel better. This moment, I am not allowing the food to control me. It does not fill my voids. I will deal with my emotions, I will not cover them with layers of food. I will beat this. I will lose weight and I will be healthy.

Breakfast: Starbucks cinnamon scone 470 calories, and grande cinnamon dolce latte 340 calories, 810 calories
Lunch: McDonalds grilled bacon ranch chicken salad w/ ranch dressing (minimal!) 300 calories

lol, cute post! and yes, alot of us find ways of justifing weekend eating! I have a problem w/ that as well. I'm glad you realize it, now you can work on it :D

My problem seems to be telling when I am hungry and when I am not, since I am so used to eating all the time anyway. I have to actually make myself stop and consider if it is actually hunger I am feeling. :rolleyes: It seems like a lot of us are in the same situation. Maybe we need to start a thread or something about ways to stop yourself from eating when you are not hungry.
 
That's the attitude! Way to go! Get yourself in gear and kick ass! You can do it!

Have you tried meditation? It may help you control the cravings. It will also put the focus on how YOUR BODY feels vs. a desire of the mind. You also need to find a way to satisfy your mind, so that whatever is pushing you for food for comfort is taken care of by means other then food. Sometimes doing some soul searching and really looking inside yourself helps. :)
