Actually hate to write diaries....but I felt I would be motivated to loose weight if I write one. Hope my diary does not bore anyone

What is your current height and weight?
height: 5"5 weight: 86kg

How much weight do you want to lose?
Around 10-15 kg.

What is the time frame for reaching your target weight?
3-6months or more.

How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
Calorie counting, jogging/Walking, weights.

Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
Advice and the motivation from the members.

Quiet realistic.

Already started 5 days back.

here's a part of my daily diet. Please feel free to change any thing in my diet which u feel would make it better

Day 1
Breakfast
Tea 170 calories [cause i drink tea in a mug not a cup (really like it) so increase in sugar hence 170 cals.]
Beef Noodles 210 calories

Lunch
Knorr soup 172 calories
Banana 100 calories

Evening
Tea 170 calories
Grapes 100 calories

Dinner
Soup 222 calories

DAY2
Breakfast
Tea 170 calories
Grapes 100 calories

Mid morning
2 apples 200 calories

Lunch
Tandoori chicken (baked chicken) 300 calories
Grapes 100 calories
1 orange 37 calories

Dinner
chapati [unleavened flat-bread] (4) 400 calories
vegetable 75 calories

DAY 3

BREAKFAST
TEA 170 calories
CHAPATI (1) with JAM 130 calories

Lunch
Maggie noodles(85gms) 345 calories

Evening
Tea 170 calories

Actually I thought that I weighed 82kg but wen I bought a new scale and measured myself it showed 86kg :( . I wanted to know how long should it take me to loose my weight with the current diet and exercise. Also wanted to know if it would be a good idea to replace jogging with aerobics.....Also how long will the loss in weight be displayed on the weighing scale.
Advice me guys....
 
Patience, have patience and keep going!! Change things around if you need to - different kinds of exercise, different kinds of healthy food, but keep going!! sometimes I find I have a great week, then it takes a whole week to notice I actually look better, it's like it is slightly delayed? Not sure why that would be, but just keep going, because so many times Ive fallen into the trap of "Urgh I look terrible, this isn't working, I give up" ---> "Hey, now I look great, that's strange, because I've been eating horribly! Well I guess I can eat what I want!" -------> "OH NO, ugh, I look fat again." Spread out over a few weeks.
 
Hello everyone i was wondering if it would be ok for me to stay only counting my calories and dieting and not exercising for the next 3 weeks because I'm going to have my exams in the coming weeks and i want to concentrate on them......

& when you think you need to destress a bit - just go for a little walk to get some fresh air! thats excercize already!
