I hate tmills BUT they are excellent for young, beautiful mothers like yourself--you can get a lot of workouts in and not have to worry too much about the kids!

lol thanks... i usually find a way to get what i want from him i start out with subtle hints but usually have to be pretty blunt about it... i think thats a guy thing though.
A treadmill is definately all about convenience, i do have a jogger stroller but i also have a 4 year old who's little legs have a hard enough time keeping up just walking at a comfortable big person pace so that wouldnt work out so well...
 
oh yes, Alone time is very very precious lol. I dont get a whole lot so I have to use every minute i can to get the workout in and hopefully squeeze in a quick shower right after... but I don't mind, at least im taking my only time and devoting it to me instead of house cleaning like I normally would...
 
very true, and the funny thing is the house isnt even much messier then it was before i was putting myself first... i'm just redoing the little things less frequently.

I am so super drunk right now and just had an argument with my husband about buying a treadmill... you know my husband is a big dreamer and is always comming up with big plans and i always support him in whatever he decides to do. but i am asking one god damn thing from him and i cant get it. im tired of hearing when this happens. i want it now damn it and i'm tired of being told when i can do something. all im asking for is a cheap treadmill that i can run on every day to help make me be a more fit person. i dont ask for much this is all i ask for why cant i have it? why must there be stipulations? at this point i just want to say fuck it. if i have to run in the snow and ice i will because thats only option im given. i wont be held back. i dont need to be single to focus on myself. i will do it and i wont be told i cant, FUCK YOU! ive been telling myself i cant for too long and now i will i dont what anyone says i am my own woman and i can and i will i dont need anyones help. Fuck it i'll go go for a run right now. I want to run and I will. It's time i took care of me I wont let anyone hold me back. I dont need anyone this is about me. I am a grown woman that can make my own decisions! I'm going upstairs to pee then getting on my jogging clothes and going for a run. because its right for me and what i need to do.
FUCK YOU WORLD I WILL DO AS I PLEASE!!!!
 
Okay all dressed up and about to go for my first run!. heres toi bringing in the new year with a bang. nothing will stand in my way!
 
its 12:10 and i just walked in. i dont care how long or not log it took i did it and I did it regaurdless of what anyone says. im going to continue to do it on my own. I wont be held back. i wont wait till im 50 and my children and grandchildren are here. today is the day and today is the day i took a stand.
 
wow I've just slept in toll 10:00 (because i was up past 4 am) and i've woken up still drunk... I'm pretty sure this is a first for me....

Umm probably because he's as bull headed as me lol And possibly because my argument was't coming out very level headed. I dont know how viable an argument can be after you drink half a 40 of vodka :ack2: lol
And I'm feeling pretty well actually thanks for asking :D
perhaps it's my long family line of current and ex alcoholics but I tend to come out on top after a long night of drinking. in most cases I actually wake up earlier and more alert the next day... I think the worst thing I did was staying up till 4 am.
the question you should be asking is how many times did I wipe out in my drunken snow run :rotflmao:

Well I guess I had a successfull drunken temper tantrum because I'm getting a treadmill lol last night my hubby was sitting on his computer looking at getting me one. He claims he never said i couldn't have one, which if thats true then arn't I an ass. But he never did say yes and the responce everytime i said i want one was always yeah uh huh and if i got really annoyed i would get something about clearing out a small space in the basement... our very over crouded basement... :smilielol5:.... no...
so yes now i'm getting one he says he'll try to get it for me this month and maybe we can put it in the living room where the tree is right now :eek2: wow..
I almost feel bad now lol...
 
Ahh one more day then come monday my scedule is back on track. Alexis goes back to school Andre goes back to work and all will be back on track... I find it very hard to get my workouts in when my husband is home because he's always in and out of the living room and becomes a distraction. Even just thinking that he may pass through at any moment comprimizes my focus... Though since i've started counting calories i have been losing weight it's been very slow going since I have been quite sedimentary with the holiday and just having Andre here...
But yeah I just can't wait... my life will be crazy busy running around again but I'm so excited about being able to get back into my usual routine :hurray:
 
So it's the first day getting back on track.. I'm so glad. i've been very lazy and sluggish and my appetite was starting to seem uncontrolable again. so far ive got my 30 minutes of step in and right after my kids finish lunch i'm about to be getting us all ready to walk my daughter to school. then the same old rush of getting my baby for a nap and doing my hour of wii fit then shower.
I've also come to realize that I set a goal with wii fit to lose like 23 pounds or something (the max it lets you it set for) in 3 months... 3 months is up on the 18th... i was 215 when i set that up and only lost 10 lbs since... i dont think i'm going to make the goal lol... unless being sedimentary for the past 2 weeks and relying on nothing but diet to keep me down to 203 im hoping starting up my excersize again will fire me up again like it did when i first started.... well i can dream it anyway :p. still 10 lbs in nearly 3 months is kind of saddening to me but at least i havent given up and i have had quite a few set backs so i'm hoping if i can prevent anymore setback i'll be good lol...

Back to normal is a relief for some things isn't it.Seems like its easier to watch your meals etc during a normal work/school/ whatever week.

I just joined thanks for letting me know about it... almost missed out :)
It's definately easier to stick with a routine when the rest of your life has routine again. My first day back on and i already feel so much better... not so lazy... blah!
 
Time for another week of food to admit to... Again it's not my ideal week but For the most part as far as I can tell i've stuck close to 2000 calories and still havent gained anything/ today i weighed in at 203.4 which was my goal for the week :)
