Hello everyone....... well back from the hospital and they did the dye and all and no blockages and I have the heart of an 18 year old kid(thats carrying way to much weight). The doctor says what I'm having are anxiety attacks????????????? I can deal with that much better than waiting for my heart to stop.
The diet the doctor gave me is an improvised cabbage diet. This one is basically one he gives to his heart patients before open heart surgery. It pulls a bunch of weight off of you really quick but you have to be careful not to put it right back on. It's just boiled/stewed tomatoes and cabbage. I guess it's an almost liquid diet with fiber. you stay on it about a week then back to normal healthy foods. I wouldn't even be considering it except I need to get at least 50 pounds off fast and then when I get back down to 350 I can start the normal eating good food routine.
I have heard of the EVIL soup diet,I tried that SH one and made it a whole 5 days before feeling deprived and going nutts, but everyone is different and in your case "DOCTORS ORDERS"I am happy for you that everything is great with your heart!Have a nice weekend
to "2008"!!
Hilly, you are so not alone! I have lost like 70 lbs like BAM then have been bouncing from 177-190's for 13 months now it would be so nice to lose the 33 lbs and be done with it already BUT like you said I keep relosing the same freaking 15lbs that I gain and getting nowhere.
I have always had such a problem with sugar; it's like the first thing I always fall back on. Things like diet cokes just make me want the real thing even more. I wish I was one of the people that just had to lose 50-60 pounds. But me I have to lose a whole person; 165 pounds or better. It's just so damn frustrating. Well instead of setting up a ticker with a long term goal, I think I'll set up one with just small 40-50 pound goal. Maybe that way when I hit a plateau It won't seem like such a huge deal.
