yea took a peek and down 4 pounds since the 2nd so with the soup added to my diet it seems to really be pulling some weight off. If I was smaller I would worry about that much weight coming off that quick but being so large I'm not gonna stress on it much. Once I hit 350 ill be more conservative with it all. Then again the weight loss might stop after a few more pounds so we will just see; it's a long road.

The applebees WW menue don't look 1/2 bad and looks to be a descent amount of food for the cals you get and the price 'BUT"my weak ass never oreders it,it is always the Loaded SMASH and BLONDIES BAD.........
Let me know if the WW food was good so I can keep that in mind next I try to order from the WW menue.

I didn't have applebee's after all. I opted for salad express(salad buffet). The weight watcher meals at applebee's are all good but the portions are kinda small.

Tonight was a good food wise..

Menu.......

Breakfast: scrambled eggs and a link of sausage with some paper thin slices of provolone cheese wrapped in a wheat/flax seed wrap. Then I split that with one of the kids so only half of that.

Lunch: Soup.

Snack: Soup.

Dinner: 2 plates of salad(things like lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, peas and so on and no meats no cheeses.) with light French dressing, bowl of cottage cheese.

Drinks: Tea, sugar free latte, orange juice, grapefruit juice, water.


Well it's almost 4 am and should really hit my coffin before the sun comes up...... nite all.
 
Well cant sleep. I have a bunch of energy and it feels kinda odd really. I haven't had many meats and the carnivore in me is screaming to get out lol. Tomorrow or today rather, I think I'll bake some catfish and maybe boil some shrimp and maybe have some baked fries or something mostly healthy. Then I just have to worry about the ketchup and tarter sauce and things like that. Since it's protein it will have quite a few calories so that means soup the rest of the day lol. Well it's ok I happen to like my cabbage soup. especially now since I'm not eating it for every meal. I decided to incorporate it into my daily diet since it's really low calories and it really fills me up. It's strange I'm not really hungry. I know when my calories stay upward of 2000 or better I feel starved. But keeping my calories low, it doesn't bother me and since I have been making the vegetable soups. I have all kind of crazy energy. I see a lot of weight coming off unless I plateau for a long time and give up again. Honestly I'm really trying to avoid that.
Well thats enough rambling for now lol.....
 
well welcome to a brand new day lol...... today is my official weigh in day and it's 379 so thats another 3 pound drop. So far everything seems to going well and I fell great. I would expect to feel run down by the reduction in calories. Mental note....... next time I use tomatoes in my soup.... don't use the extra hot rotels...... wow.............
 
Todays food.....

Breakfast: soup

Lunch: soup

Dinner: Two catfish fillets; one baked with lemon slices and one baked with a cracker crust. Boiled shrimp and some veggie I haven't decided on yet. some tartar sauce and some cocktail sauce.

Snack: soup

snack: oatmeal and raisins no sugar but maybe some honey.

Drinks: Tea, coffee, water, grapefruit juice, glass of 2% milk.

Well today is still going pretty well. Had my soup and wow it's hot..... I'm trying to bring in some more foods. I calculated the calories in my cabbage soup and it's about 400 calories for the whole pot. a pot last me about 2 days so thats only about 200 calories a day(coming from that). Like I said before I feel good on this amount of food so I'm gonna leave it alone for now. Todays calories will be higher coming from the fish and shrimp but tomorrow it's back to veggies with one meal with eggs or meat or some such.

yea it's really going well. I just hope there are no plateaus in my future, thats when the urge to say just #$%^ it. I'm just glad I didn't gain everything back when I went back to drinking sodas and eating mostly what I want.
 
ewww i now shudder at the whole cabbage soup thing. It gets old after a week (even though it works lol).

I happen to like cabbage so it's not a big deal. It's one thing I can eat that wont hurt. now eating it all day gets old but being the carnivore I am; I like to have some steak, fish or chicken or something.....pork I can take or leave it lol.....
 
well now that it's all said and done today was a pretty good day. The fish and shrimp were good and all but not eating much meat it's actually well it's :puke: ............. The only bad thing my wife bought way too much fish and i can look forward to another day of it. I'll have to look up the calories in catfish but I don't think it's much........... Ah well back to the video games :leaving:
 
good thing you like cabbage. Agreed on the meat thing. fish has very little calories unless you batter and deep fry. Go hard on the fish!

Cant say im a huge fish fan though either. Fish and pork would be the few things im not overly fussed on but ill eat on occasion. now hand me a 2" rare cooked thick steak! :D~~~

I don't think I could just live off of soups but 2 meals out of the day not bad.....especially if I have a huge texakin steak waiting on me next weekend.......
 
Hey buddy thanks for dropping by my diary :). Some great people have come and gone in the time since both of us joined, but its great to see you still chugging along. There aren't too many of us around since the time we joined.

Congrats on your 3 pounds! You totally deserve it...it sounds like you have been doing a great job with your eating!

What all is in that soup? I have heard of it before, but never seen the recipe.

yea the first 4 pounds I thought were pretty normal but then the other 3 came off a few days later for a total of 7 that week I was surprised.

There is a cabbage soup diet or some call it the sacred heart diet which every claims as a fad diet. It's a hard diet to stick with. Most that have been on it say it comes right back when you get on solid foods. If you pull up one of those they have recipes attached to them.

mine is just some onion, cabbage, stewed tomatoes, some kind of Mrs dash. I use the Mrs dash because cabbage is bland and it's too easy to put in a pound of salt trying to make it taste good lol.

Every one says cabbage soup is reverse calories but I don't know If I really believe in reverse calories. So I use it for a meal replacement;kinda like how the slim-fast and programs like that work.

The whole pot of soup is about 400 calories and there are bound to be some vitamins and such that come through the soup. The only thing is if you don't like cabbage it won't be easy for you.

If you don't like cabbage, you could have a soup for a meal they are normally pretty good calorie wise. You just really need to watch the sodium, they are really packed with it.

I just find i'm less hungry with the lower end of calories that if I get them higher.

Warning:::::: the soup really seems to flush out your kindneys lol.:seeya:
 
Well it's another good day. I go back to work next Monday and I really need to get out of the house lol. Well the truth is that I am just sitting down to breakfast at 5pm. I guess that happens when you sleep late. yesterday I think I had more shrimp and fish than I should have but it was good.

Menu

Breakfast- sleep

Lunch- sleep

Snack- soup

Dinner- 2 catfish fillets baked with lemon and black pepper and 2 jalapeños just to make things interesting lol. baked potato with butter and sour cream.

Drinks- water, tea, sugar free mocha latte, grapefruit juice.

Cabbage soup doesn't sound too bad. Of course if that is all you are supposed to eat it might not be that great. I'm with ya on the steak. I won't eat fish and lately chicken has been tasting funny. I guess it's my midwestern upbringing. Give me a steak anytime and I am happy. Pork not so much. As Ron White says: I didn't climb to the top of the food chain to eat carrots.

You are doing great. I just wanted to stop by and say hello and keep up the good work.
