well I found out after weighing the meat it ain't much. When I think about the 28 and 46 ounce steaks I use to eat. Beef is officially a very scarce meat on my diet. well at 4 ounces for over 300 calories There are way better options. I'm also adding more water to my diet. I don't know if water really does anything other than keeping you running lol. todays water is 80 ounces and that is alot compared to the amount I use to drink.
 
The water will make a bit of a difference. I know that's why I lost those first 15 pounds so quickly was the water.

Anyway, I glanced through you diary and:

1. I'm glad you're back on track.
2. 6 lbs is beyond fantastic.
3. I need to stop in here and pick up some pointers on weight loss, you're doing what I can't seem to do right now.

Hello everyone. It's morning already uggggg.......

The only thing I hate about starting to eat breakfast again is I wake up starved. I kinda like the good ol days when I would wake up and not be hungry till about five pm. then I would have a huge meal. Then for dinner I would have another huge meal. Then normally I would snack until about 3 am. Hmmmm maybe they weren't the good ol days after all........

Breakfast: Peanut Butter and Banana shake; made some peanut butter in the food processor, banana, 2% milk, splenda. {90+110+130+0}
(330 calories)

Lunch: Tuna steak wrap; Tuna steak, lavash bread, salsa, sour cream. {140+100+20+60}
(320 calories)

Dinner: Applebee’s Weight watchers southwest cobb salad.
(440 calories)

Snack: 2 sheets baked lavash bread chips and salsa sour cream dip.
{200+ 20+60}
(280 calories)

Drinks: water, green tea.
(0 calories)

Total: 1370
Maintenance calories 3553
3553-1370=2183 unused calories
That's probably not enough calories for me but I'll make up for it tomorrow.
 
The more I look at my calories for today the lower they seem to be. I might have to go to starbucks tonight and see if they can help me out with about 300 calories:rolleyes:
 
Well I substituted a starbucks coffee for my last snack which gave me a new total of 1610 and with a maintenance of 3553 it leaves me a new total of......
1943 unused calories.....:cool:

I use a BMR calculator and it tells you how many calories your body uses to stay at the weight you are. For me a 6'1 male thats 35 years old with not much exercise going on it takes 3553. The larger you are the the more calories you use just to stay alive. I subtract the calories I actually use from the maintenance number and that just tells me how many calories I didn't use and thats what my body "should" pull from it's reserves.
