Hang in there. I know physicals really suck. As for the job hunting, I have been there. Nobody would hire me while I was in college for a decent paying position so I worked 3 jobs until I graduated. But good does come to those who wait. If you do not get a job then you were not meant to have it. I truly believe in that. I now absolutely love my profession but it took alot of other jobs to get here. I was even an insurance agent at one time. Now that really sucked. The physical is just one more obstacle you will eventually overcome. Good luck!
 
Yea working through the physical I can BS my way through the physical part of it. The worry comes from my blood pressure spiking up. So the more I lose before then the less I have to worry about.
 
Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 corn tortillas, 2 slices of turkey bacon, ½ can of diced potatoes. {140+110+70+113}
(433 calories)

Lunch: chicken salad sandwich; roasted chicken, light salad dressing, pimento, 2 slices of wheat. {340+20+10+140}

Dinner: baked pumpkin with 1 tablespoon of vegetable spread/butter. {150+50}

Snack: serving of wheat chex cereal with a serving of 2% milk. {180+130}
(310 calories)

Snack: 2 cans of tuna in water with light salad dressing and 2 servings of small green olives (about 10) {300+20+50}

Drinks: water, two cups of unsweetened lemon green tea.
(0 calories)

Total: 1823 calories

Wow you get alot of food! I get these measly portions! LOL Oh well I used to get bigger ones too and the smalled you are the smaller the portions!:D
 
yea I have always had a huge appetite. One of the perks of being so large is my maintenance calories are way up there. When I get to where My maintenance calories are only at 2500 or so; I see a lot of salads in my future lol.....
 
Well I'm down 3 pounds in just a few days so I'm thinking it's water. Last time I was on a big loss push it held for about 4 months before I got my first plateau so I hope this time it's the same. I just have to watch the late nights, thats when my appetite really kicks in. It's strange I really don't get hungry until about 6 or 7 at night and then it drives me crazy. When I get up early and eat breakfast it seems to help control it a little better. It probably has something to do with eating before I actually get hungry.
 
I don't know. I get hungry at night too. I also have a huge appitite. I have a hard time potioning my food! And I love salad, but somehow I can make a salad have 1000cals in no time flat!! LOL:D
 
i know what you mean about the late night cravings. If i stay up too late at night, i get such bad hunger pangs. I try to keep myself busy in a room away from the kitchen, and then maybe a huge glass of water i the room with me.
 
I am having bad cravings right now! I think it's because I'm tired, haven't had time to get in exercise and we are going over to a friends! I will probably gain a bit tomorrow. It's all inthe game though sometimes you lose, but you strive to win!!:)
 
well today is going ok but the cravings are starting to kick in. Eh I will fight it off. Drinking water seems to help fill me up or at least give the that nauseous don't want to eat feeling lol. So far I have had breakfast and lunch so dinner ain't too far away. I picked up some different flavored green teas though they are kinda week. Nothing like the extra sweet super strong southern tea I'm used to drinking. I'm going to the store tomorrow because it's getting getting kinda hard to be creative lol. I'm trying to put together a grocery list just for me since the other people around here get the full fat full flavor foods..................................................................................................................................................................................................................... sorry I had a moment lol. The hardest part about my diet is the lack of beef. I am a native born texakin... It just has so many calories that I have cut way back on that. I'm thinking I should eat more fish and shrimp and things like that. Man I'm looking at a 300.00 grocery bill. Why is being on a diet so expensive??????

(BLAH) and I have heard green tea taste nothing like reg tea?
I saw a lipton diet green tea what is opion on that?
Hang in there and the cravings will pass you just have to find a
fave food that you can have when that kind of crave hit's,mine
is the peanutbutter crunch slimfast bar or a spoonfull of peanutbutter
it kills that pain and satisfies me as well.
CONGRATS on 3 lbs gone I got rid of 6 lbs and I don't care if it's waterthats 3 lbs lighter!!! Keep up the good work,Tammy:)
 
When you figure out why trying to eat healthier is so expensive, let me know! I've had people try to tell me that it's cheaper to by fruits and veggies and such - NOT! Fresh produce in this town is rediculously expensive.
 
Tammy green tea is like everything else and it depends on the brand. The real Japanese tea is normally in a powder form. It's very strong and has this pungent kinda smell and taste. Over the counter green teas alot of the time are mixed with things like rose hips, lemon, Cinnamon, chamomile. Green teas like that aren't as strong as the Lipton orange pekoe type teas. You will just have to find a box on sale and try it. I like it with a pack or two of splenda.
Girl yea I don't know it just really runs the bill up. The fresh fruits and vegetable really run the bill up. Then things like fresh fish is like buying steaks. I'm gonna go for some frozen tuna or whitefish, maybe some sea scallops and shrimp. The veggies are things like cauliflower, and leeks, cucumbers, yellow squash. Maybe some apples, oranges, bananas, and maybe some melons. With the kids around I wont get much of that lol. I have come to decide that people that do the juicing thing are rich or very well off lol.


I have been using splenda in my tea because its a no calorie sweetener but I found this.....

I see but your probally not using cups at a time just
a pinch here and there with your drink so I wouldn't worry
about it.I think overall splenda isn't bad as long as you don't
put cup's in your drink lol like I had to do to drink coffee
so I don't drink it anymore.The tea sounds complicated so
I guess I'll pass, I just heard it hepls with weightloss?
