a Hillbilly diary

Hello everyone. Man it's warm here lol. Well I got back in a few minutes ago the tulsa airport was snowed in then a plane was held up at St. Louis. So I got from tulsa to houston via Ney york. They said I was accually at the interview three months early but someone at their corporate office wanted me there so it wasn't a big deal. The interviews went well and all of the hiring managers seemed to like me. Everyone was told the same thing. We will get a letter with an offer or rejection in about 2 weeks. The internship is paid and after their training I would go back to school and while I was in school I would be working with the recruting department so my pay wont stop. Well all it's time for sleep..... see yall soon

Yea it all looks very promising, It's a long interview process. They were just baffled that I got through the process so quickly. They think i was brought in from; I guess it's the area recruiter that I met at the career fair. It wasn't that I was there too early buy they were just more surprised. Now I just have to hurry up and wait. It's odd how riding in a plane and waiting at airports can make you so tired.
They took us to the training compound and showed us the different processes. The walked us up and down the hill to get there and back that would make ms. m say, "What the hell?" lol. I think it was almost a physical test. With my industrial experience and soon to be degree; the only way I wont get it will be because of my size.

Well I have to go out and talk to Santa Clause today so see yall in a bit.

welocme home Hillbilly...........
glad everthing went well.........
interviews are stressful.......be scrutinized is horrible!!!!!
but hell ya did your best and thats all ya can do......right?
If they don't hire ya they are stupid!!!
*puts hands on hips and nods*
get rested and see ya on the flipside!!!
STAR;) :D

Well I'm feeling much better today. I'm getting on some sort of diet again. The trip to Tulsa and the unexpected layover in New York there was just no diet going on during the past week lol. I did manage to stay away from cokes so that was something.

Oh so how did it go anyway HB? you think you impressed them?

Bugger about the diet, i did some of my own skipping this weekend lol.

Welcome home Shug!!!!! :D:D:D:D *happy dance*
Hopefully they'll have some good news for you in a bit. Waiting... bleh.
So did they seem like they would have good news for you???

Don't worry about they diet, you can start work on it today. :D:D
Isn't that great thing about it, each meal is a new opportunity to get it back on track!

Have a great Sunday!

yea I think the interviewing went well but we will have to wait and see. I'm fairly certain I did and said everything right. They seemed fairly impressed. Most of the people there had military experience but nothing first hand in chemical or plant experience. I hope that swings things in my favor. The only thing they seemed worried about was that i still have six months of school. I think the internship starts a little later along but since the main recruiting guy sent me up there, it could be a good thing.

Breakfast-0

Lunch- Japanese; Miso soup, California roll, Philadelphia roll, two fried crab puffs and a touch of sweet and sour.

Dinner- It's up in the air so not sure. No diet food in the house so I will wing it lol.

Glad the job interview went well. Crossing my fingers and toes for you!:D

Hey HB! Just trying to catch up with you, I've been MIA for a couple of days. So glad that you're home and that things went well. I'm just waiting on the letter saying, "GET BACK HERE, WE WANT YOU!" arrives. :)

yea that would be great letter to get but we will see. I kinda got the impression they were worried about my weight so we will have to see. They kept mentioning thing on their benefits like overweight programs and high blood pressure programs. It's one of those things you don't know how to take it until you get the offer or rejection.

Lunch- Japanese; Miso soup, [/B]
