a Hillbilly diary

Nah that mcdonalds you ate is fine! :) It's just how many calories and you have 3000 calories to fill!

Hey how much weight have you lost? If you dont mind me askin?

Wow... losing that much weight that fast must have been really difficult!

Good job on the calories today, it's surprising that you can fit into your goal even when you eat junk food, isn't it?

i think it has been about five months give or take. Well it is easier for someone really large sometimes. To be at that weight I think I would have been taking in about 6000 calories a day so when I dropped it down to 2000-3000 it was a big difference so it came off rather quickly

I went down to about 1200 calories over the summer of 2005 and I was on it for maybe 2 months. It took weight off, but I don't think it was really healthy and it certainly was too hard to stick on. I think slow and steady really does win the race. Great to see how successful you've been.

Hillbilly,

Oh wow!!! That is so wonderful!!! Congratulations!!! I know that it sounds silly since I am new and don't really know you, but I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!! You truly are an inspiration!!!

HEY HB! I agree, slow and steady wins the race for sure. You have to allow yourself ample time to adjust to your new lifestyle. You can't just go balls to the wall for a few months and then go back to where you were before without gaining it all back. You basically have to learn to eat like a normal person again. Now if I could just take what I've learned about diet and excersize and translate that to my need to be more organized....
