Pff.. I've got the opposite problem.. I got the college degree & no one wants to hire me because I'm inexperinced - OY!...lol
 
well all just checking in..I hate finals....

Today will have to be a cheat day... I went to visit me'maw and had....

Fried chicken
fried livers and gizzards
mashed taters with gravy
baked beans
peach cobbler
sweet mint tea
2 glasses of white wine.

well at least I had breakfast lol........
 
Sounds like memaw had a nice dinner! I hope you are doing well HB. Just think after the finals, you get to rest your brain for a few weeks!! :)
 
All I had my mammaws was store bought cake & ice cream... I think I like yours better. lol.. Have a great day weekend Shug & don't let the finals get to you. You'll do great - I know it!! :D:D:D

Well I just got in and it was ok. didn't go crazy on food just the normal night out. talk to yall soon....

OH and WOW...you have almost lost 100 lbs, very impressive...
 
well a normal night out is going to video game LAN parties, movies, go downtown and just hang out. Food will be anything from Mexican to Chinese to a deli. It's just my time to get away. Drinks aren't anything crazy, maybe a glass of Cognac or some Jack Daniels. So it's not a low calorie day but I don't go crazy with sugars and sweets.
Last night was just a trip to a mall, picked up a video game I wanted, went to a deli and had a liverwurst on rye with mustard with a Guinness. Then I went walking with a friend of mine and we did 5 miles around his neighborhood. Then basically drifting into the house about 3 am lol.....

When I started losing weight all I did was diet and exercise and I felt like it was never ending. So once a week I started eating out and eating what I wanted within reason and look at it as kind of a reward thing. Sure it off sets the diet by one day but it keeps me on path a little better.
 
I hear ya! I was never one to reward myself on diets in the past, and i think that my have been the reason it didn't work for me. I started last week again (lost 5lbs in 7days!... the benefit of being a newbie :)) and Fridays are going to be my "semi-cheat day"... nothing too serious... like i said, i'm not going to go pig out on mcdonalds, but i AM going to try and treat myself. maybe have a caesar salad or a clubhouse sandwich or something.

in the end i think it's important to realize that we're all human... and if you try and stick to a diet that deprives you of everything you like then it just won't work!

anywho, it seems as though you're doing great on your diet so far, so you're definitely doing something right :)

keep up the great work - and just remember... we're all in the same boat, some just float a little deeper in the water! :)

Sound's like you had a fun night! I to do
the food reward once a week for kicking butt all week!
People say you shouldn't reward with food but it for the
most part works except this weekend 1 day turned into
2 days of pigging out the self control went right out the
window! Well you keep on doing what your doing cuz it's
working and your doing gr8! Tammy:D
 
Oh I hear ya there...the last 8, 9 10 weeks, all I have been doing is focusing on exercising and eating well...I wasnt going out or really doing anything cuz I didnt want to get derailed but now I can do it and liek you, I suggests wlaks and so on...no more sitting on my ass drinking pop and eating fatty foods...LOL...we walk to the grocery tore and pick up more nutritious food and so on...have a good day:)
