well overall it was a good night. I just got home and im starved but dont think i really need to eat at 3:15 am not even a salad. Ill get up about 10 or so tomorrow think i can wait till then. The hardest part i guess seems to be when i get hungry. I get full real fast now. Its strange ill finish eating and i still feel hungry but then it slowly moves to satisfied then full. my stomach and my brain just cant seem to get along.......
 
You were just worried I would put on steal cap boots ay :D lol good job on eating breakfast. I don’t know who your friends are but I would kill my friends if they tried to make it sound easy:cool: . Weight loss for me is not easy but it has been the best learning experience of my life. The things we can learn about ourselves is phenomenal, it was a bonus I had never even thought about.
425-395 WOW :eek: :cool: THAT IS TERRIFIC
 
I've been told it takes your stomach a while to send the "I'm full" message to your brain, that's maybe why you aren't feeling full up until you've finished eating. :) 425-395 is a fantastic loss and you've done amazing so far. The best thing is it'll get easier as you go on so keep at it!
 
YAY HILLBILLIE! You are doing incredibly well! I have a feeling that with all of our little eyes watching you and cheering you on, you will have no problem keeping up the good work! We want to see you succeed just as much as you do!!!!
 
wow didnt make breakfast today. didnt go to bed till about 8 am and now its almost 230 pm. so not sure what to call this meal its past breakfast past lunch but before dinner lol. Im starting off with a turkey bacon and poached egg sanwich. Itll prob be 500 cals after the bread and sour cream instead of mayo but since i havent eaten yet today it shouldnt hurt a bit. Im making beef roast tonight with carrots and potatoes and maybe a few rolls but just having one plate shouldnt be too bad. If i get hungry after that later tonight ill just have a basic vegtable salad. I havent gotten to the point that i have had to count every little calorie yet. being so large and coming down from 6000 cals a day i have a pretty good zone that i can be in and still lose weight. later on it will stall and that when the diet normally stops. This time feels different, with you guys out there i dont feel so alone and starved. talking to yall i have realized its just a new way of eating not starving.It would bother me when the wife and kids were all walking around drinking cokes and cool-aid and drinking some southern extra sweet tea. ok i miss the sweet tea alittle but its nothing more than a passing thought.
 
its odd how long i stay full now. I had that sandwich a few hours ago and im still stuffed. made me a hot chai with splenda and a splash of 2% milk. I cant believe how much food it used to take me to fill up. I cant believe one sandwich makes me this full. well thats a good thing. Its just a strange feeling when your 5 year old can now out eat you lol. I found some large weight digital scales online today. they arent all as expensive as i thought. I mean some are but im not going to get anything fancy. The weight is coming of fast at the moment. people tell me its water weight not sure really. I just hope at least one more large chunk comes off before it regulates and it hits the 1-5 pounds a week.
 
sweet tea

My husband was diagnosed with diabetes two years ago. He is a skinny guy, but got diabetes after taking prednisone for a long time for his sinus problems. Anyway, he had to quit drinking Dr. Pepper - his favorite - and switch to tea - his pretty distant second favorite. It took just a little while to get used to, but he really loves iced tea with Splenda. He drinks it every day. I personally never liked tea, but he loves it. So, if you miss your tea, maybe that would be a good thing to try.
 
wow silly roadrunner wouldnt let my on for a few days. lets see........ all is still going about the same. I make myself breakfast even though im not really hungry that early. Its norm some turkey bacon on bread. sometimes a have an egg sometimes not. I started back to school after our one week summer break. Lunch isnt really an issue right now so ill be skipping it and just have a better dinner. All we have around the school are fastfood and stuff like that. we only have a 20 min break for lunch so its just easy enough to grab something when i get home. I still havent had any cokes. I really havent had any sugar except i had a small bowl of cereal lastnight and i guess it had whatever sugar was made in there.The cereal didnt hurt because i was only up to about 1000 cals before that. Diet pills are working alittle too well im just not hungry.......
 
keep up the good work! And, when you start eating the "right size" portions of your meals, your stomach will eventually shrink back to the size that it's supposed to be. Keep it up!
 
yea the portion size im at now is weird. Before it would have just been the starter coarse. I feel weird at a restaurant im done while everyone else is still eating. I just get full or at least satisfied so fast.
 
i know exactly how you feel. My family had a barbeque, and I ended up only barely being able to eat the burger, when normally, I could eat everything on my plate. It feels weird for a while, then you realize that hey, I'll still feel comfortable in a few minutes. They will all have to unbutton their pants 'cause they feel so full! :D
 
well im kinda running a day behind due to to the internet fouling up. the half sandwich this morning was one slice of turkey bacon at 50 cals and one slice of white bread at 70 cals and just alil sour cream t 40 cals.

breakfast was 160 cals

late lunch was spam sandwich with some mayo. so lets see 140 for the bread the spam single was 270(ouch) and salad dressing was 40.

latelunch was 450 cals(again ouch)

dinner hummmmm havent had it yet prob some roast beef a few spoons of mashed potatoes with buttermilk rather than the milk and butter and a little horseraddish just because my grandmother did it that way.

well thats only 610 cals before dinner and im trying to stay around 2500-3000 till my weight stalls anyhow so i should be fine for today. But if that dairy queen comertial comes on one more time advertizing their blizzards im gonna, im gonna, well im gonna get one thats all. or maybe just have a glass of water instead :eek:( oh nothing to drink but water today so its been a liquid cal free day
 
Turn off the tv, then you won't have to see the DQ commercial anymore! :) Do you have any hobbies that would get you away from the TV for a while? (oh, and by the way, the "monster cookie" blizzard aint' that good :D) When I start craving something, I sit down at the piano and play whatever the heck I want! (rather than doing my scales like a good girl) Or, I write something, or sing. Whatever I can do to get away from the sense of craving. But that's just me.

Yay for the water! I do believe that i've drunk enough today to fill an elephant, but that's ok, cause lots of water is good for the soul! :D
 
wow cant sleep again. Its odd when i think about how much time i used to spend eating then sleeping. The eating was something i would look forward to. now its just something i do because i have to. Sleeping was something that i would spend 12-14 hours doing i just couldnt stay awake. That was one of the things that got my butt on this diet it was a strange feeling. Now i get from 5-8 hours sleep a night and i feel great. I had about two days of feeling sluggish but that passed. Ahhhh well welcome to a brand new day..........

Breakfast- one slice of white bread -w- one slice of turkey bacon= 120 cals
Lunch- one bag of veggie chips= 170 cals
Dinner- Two tuna steaks, Boiled carrots -w- sour cream sauce= 556 cals
Snacks- Bowl of cereal -w- milk= 240
Drinks- sugar free energy drink,water= 0

Total= 1086 cals

well thats not too bad when im allowing myself 2500-3000 a day. I started planning my breakfast and lunch which gives me some leway durring the night for dinner snack and drinks. That way i know how much room i have to work with to keep the fat and calories in check. well so far everything is going ok. The only day im skipping lunch is tues,wed,thurs when im on the campus. today i had to grab a baggie of veggie chips my stomach wouldnt take no for an answer. It used to be i could put off food all day and eat whenever but now when im hungry my stomach tends to do flip flops and throw a hissy fit lol........
 
well i never got around to the cerial with milk. wow if you told me i would ever be able to take in less than 1000 cals and not be starving i wouldnt believe you.Thats way too few calories for me. Im so full right now. How i could hold 6000 cals a day i have no idea. This is the first time i have been on a diet and wasnt nawing on the furniture. I think it has something to do with the lack of sugar. maybe since thats what alot of my food intake was my body dosent want anything else. That could be a bad thing as well as good.
