New Year New Me

Hello forum friends!


I am now back full time with a new modem that works just in time for the new year! The holidays where hard....expensive and stressfull and tirring and most of all fun to see familly members that I only see during the holidays....holiday food for me is not too bad until I get to desert...I weighted in at 179.0lb this morning :( I never wanted to get back up here my new jeans are tight and I am feeling very akward in them, but I am gonna keep wearing them till they get too big....I made a pact with two women at work to get to 169 by mid march..if we do succeed we are heading to a tatoo parlor and getting tattoos! I bought the X box Kinnect for Chrismas and I will do the dancing game at least 30 min a day this week....and I will start again with my water....I also want to take a few minuts to log on here and track my foods I will start with points again tommorow this week I am just gonna do portion size and quality of the food I eat....no more crap food!

Yogourt and Granola parfait.

Lunch
Vegetable and Lentille soup

Diner
I want chicken and salad but I don't know yet.
 
Welcome back to the forum. I am sure you will succeed. Make sure you get your water in - half your weight in ounces - for me that is 12 cups. Have you tried water with a squeeze of lime? It is delish. Have fun with your Wii and remember you are burning calories just being on your feet looking after your kids - any time you are not sitting on your butt you are burning calories.

I used to be very good with drinking my water.....until I started my new job and there is no good drinking water available I used to drink like 3L a day! I keep forgeting my water bottle at home in the morning, until mid november I would put it in the car the night before but now it's too cold and my water freezes and it makes a mess on my desk.....I will find a solution! I am running out of fuel for running after my kids....this journey is not just bout weight loss but also I want to get fit and enjoye time with my kids more!

Yesterday's food log goes like this

Coffee
granola yogourt perfait

vegie and lentill soup

200g of cheese curds (at 120 calories each 30g)

diner
chicken sandwaich ( 3 oz chicken breast, lettuce. some cheese oignion and a tiny bit of mayo on whole wheat bread)
pepsi
1 pudding cup

then I drank 2 glases of water and was in bed by 8 pm no workout
not a total write off but close

Today
yogourt,, granola. blueberry perfait
Coffee

Lunch
vegie lentil soup

cherries and fiber one bar as a snack (improvment !!)

Diner
Faitas ( chicken, red and orange peppers, oignion, stir fried in a tiny dot of olive oil) I used about 1 ounce of cheddar cheese in a whole grain flower Tortillia.

I am trying to shake of my renewed surgar addiction. So I am still going for my cravings but in smaller doses and I will keep shrinking the portion size opfully by the end of January and with out headach surgar will be out of my system along with the craving s for it.....Also I am gonna buy more fruits in order to feed those craving but I know I got to cut down gradually of the process surgar stuff in order not to have migrains....they would keep me from doing my job well! I am planning to bring my water with me tommorow and hopefully a work out tonight!

1/2 cup of yogourt with 1/2 cup of granola

Left over faiitas with no Tortilla
and about an ouce of cheese.

snack (if I am hungry)
cherries

green tea


supper
tuna on salad with a tiny bit of dressing!

Ok so I can't beleive I forgot to write this....2 weeks ago I bought new jeans just pick ou my regular size and went home...I tried them on and they where too big!!! So I go back to the store last weekend and I return them then try on one size down very exited that size 16 where too big....Guess what size 14 was also on the big side so I sais lets give size 12 a try thinking i won't be able to zip them up but they fit...a bit tight but I can still wear them!! :) this will keep me going!!! I am trying to cut the surgar slowly this time I have a bit of a head ach but it's managable.....that is all the time I have! Take care!

Vegetarian Been
Small bag of chips and a pepsi ( I was craving salt and caffein)

Diner
Chicken soup very spicy thai (take out so probably high in salt and calories)
5 or 6 mc donalds fries

I have been craving salt like crasy wich mean TOM is on it's way probably around monday......I don't think there will be a big loss on the scale this week but I am craving surgar a lot less so that on itself is a great victory I did about 1 hours of workout but I did go pick up the mail this week at work on foot that is about 15 min walk in the cold and snow and ice so it takes a lot out of a person lol ( I know I know wimplol) I am planning of buying ice skate to teach my daughter to skate! I got so much house work to catch up on I should go......I got a bit disapointed at work today. There where giving new responsibilities to my team and all I got was more phone calls.....I was hoping to get away from freaking phones.....and learn new things now all I get to do are phones nothing else I will probably have to give away all other work cause I won't have time for it that suck I was hoping for a real chance but I am the new girl I get the crap job...and they way they are setting me up I will not get to prove that I am good for anything else anytime soon. I am just gonna have to suck it up for now mabe they will have to hire a new person to help with the phones soon, and I get other stuff to do.

Hey Veronique Happy New Year!! I didn't know you were back to updating daily so I'm sorry I haven't been around! Great work on the size 12! It's a good boost to keep going!!
I hear ya on the sugar addiction! Mine has been salt lately too. I've been dreaming about chocolates - I ate way too many over the holidays - enough for the rest of the year!
Keep up the great work! I love that you are back posting! Seems like it's going to be a great year!

Hey Lisa it'a nice to see you on here! I had technical problems but now they are fixed so I can update here more regularly and I now have an official desk at work I can comes online sometimes but I try to get away from my desk during my break. Happy New Year to you too!
 
Weigh in a day late!

Good Morning forum friends! So yesterday I had a day off and I woke up way to late and I still had to drive the kids over to the day care so that my daughter got on the but on time...... I didn't get to weight in. From the day care my husband and I brought a couple of news paper and went out for breakfast...I had a cheese omelette and I ate it all but it was kind of a brunch so I was really hungry and the place we went at doesn't over serve I didn't feel too full after then when I got home I caught up with my daily cleaning. I also watch a bit of day time tv whole folding laundry. No work out yesterday and food wasn't great but not bad I had my brunch and then half of Friday's diner I wanted wine but had no time to go buy some and I don't keep pepsi in the house. Snack was a handfull of popcorn unsalted!

This morning I did jump on the scale! 177.2 Last week I was 179 :) I am glad for that imagine what I can acomplish with actual workouts!
 
Yesterday:

Breakfast
Share a 3 egg cheese omeleete with the kids so I ate like 1/3 of it !
1 Toast slightly buttered
coffee time 3 cups but only 2 cream and one surgar for all three cups I basically toped my cup with fresh coffee with out adding anything more to it!

Lunch
Legume salad (spring mix with red pepper red oignion and a can of mixed beans)
1 tbps of homemade dressing

Diner
I skipped it I felt dead tired and my nose was all stuffy Kids and hubby wanted hot dogs and I am no longer albe to eat those. I saw a show the 10 worst things you can eat and yuck they showed what could possibly be in a hot dog,,,,even thought I don't eat the pork or beef ones I was still very discusted and still can look at them ...I did have a small bowl of chips later on damn cravings....but I didn't eat the bag just a small bowl still improvement...I can't wait for TOM to start so the craving go down.

Today
French Toast ( my daughter wanted to help me with breakfast)
Coffee 1 Cream 1 Surgaar and so far only one cup.

Lunch and diner will be at my moms and I am gonna go visit my god father who isn't doing too well, I didn't want to ge alone so my mom is comming with me!

Today's food isn't good I am sick and am craving junk plus TOM is due any day now (today to be exact). Also to day I did break one of my own rules and jumped on the scale first thing in the morning scale said 175.6 ( WHat???)
I am still keeping my official weight at 177.2 until Friday and will nit start weighin in every day. I better go fix my salad before I go for more junk!

I don't think I will work out until my meds take effect! If I feel the want to dance I will give it a try!

Yep I break over at times too! At least you are not gaining.

I do this every day I know I will.....It's all about balancing right??? 1 bad day and 6 good days should still see some loose I hope anyways!
 
I just want to say, that even though I've only thus far read the first post of this thread diary I will be reading the whole thing because you WORK IN A CHEESE FACTORY. You are a GODDESS among women. I love your work.
