A good split routine?

Hi I want to try and do a split workout in a week where I workout on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays.

I wanted to know how should I split up my body for this workout, should I do like this.

1. Mondays- Chest/Triceps
2. Tuesdays- Legs
3. Thursdays- Back/Biceps
4. Fridays- Shoulders

or should I do like

Mondays- full upper body
Tuesdays- full lower body
Thursdays- full upper
Fridays- full lower

????

Any suggestion
 
1. Go to your library
2. Look for New Rules of Lifting
3. Check it out
4. Start the Breakin Program
5. Read the book
6. Begin Strength I
 
defenitley not your first option. That would mean yoru shoulders would only get a workout once a week. Not the best idea..
