A good every-day routine?

Hey guys, I'm new to these boards.

I've started to work out daily now, but I was wondering on a good every-day plan to follow. I was doing arms (biceps, triceps) one day, with chest and shoulders the next. That is a very general program I have been using, with legs and abs mixed in. The thing is, a lot of chest machines also use the triceps, and I don't want to be working the same thing daily (unless thats ok?). I'm already feeling a little bit of a burn on my tri's, and I'm worried about pulling it.

Also, I am interested in building mass. I am not trying to stay in my current form, rather get bigger.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Peter

wanna get big???
eat big & lift big!!!
what i do for triceps is work them out on the same day as chest.
i never really go to hardcore on my tris either, ill do 4-5 sets max.

you say " withe legs and abs mixed in", is that on its own day, or mixed in with your chest day? if it is i highly recommend doing legs on its own day, especially if your tryin to build mass. doing squats promotes overall mass gain.

Tri and chest the same day....sounds good. And 4 or 5 sets max? I only ever do 4 (on one machine, excercise).

Also, I'm not a big legs man, more upper-body. When I come to do some cardio, I sometimes do a little leg-press or something, but most of my leg muscle comes from my swimming and running.

just dont neglect training your legs. its been said that one who skimps on leg workout could be cutting their results in half.

- big lifts
- focus on parts
- compound i.e. squats
- burn is good, pumped?
