Hey everyone
Lisa - I'm copying you... but I think it's time to start a new journey and therefore I need a new journal!
My old diary can be found here if anyone is interested in seeing how I got to where I am today!
Marie, you made a really good point that the person I was 5 months ago wants different things than the person I am now! So let's take a look back at the person I was 5 months ago:
Well, let's see. I ate whatever I wanted, did not exercise at all, was just plain lazy. But I decided to turn my life around. At 5'4" and 156 pounds, I was not happy with myself. My jeans weren't tight because "they just got out of the dryer," .... my jeans were tight because I KEPT GROWING OUT OF THEM! Finally I decided that I needed to turn my life around and start living a healthy lifestyle.
By counting calories and working out at least 6 times a week, I managed to lose 20 pounds. Ever since the holiday's, my weight loss has stalled and haven't really made any progress. I haven't gone to the gym as much and I stopped being so strict with my diet. The reason for this, I think, is because I have already made it to my "goal" weight. When I weighed 156 pounds, I wanted to be 135. Now that I'm 135, I feel like I already made it. But I can see that I could lose a little more weight, be more fit, and be healthy at 125 pounds.
So I am here to start fresh again with my journey, starting at 135 pounds. I would like to lose 10 pounds to reach 125 and ultimately I would like to accomplish this by my 20th birthday (May 13th). I think this is PLENTY of time, and if I can get my dedication back completely, there is no reason that I can't get there sooner.
I am attaching my progress pictures from the last 5 months for anyone that is new to my diary or would like to see how far I have come. Though I haven't made much progress lately, I know what I need to do to get to where I want to be... I must remind myself that a goal without a plan is just a wish... so HERE WE GO!
