A Day In The Life of..Me! :)

LOL! Not everyone, just mine ;) Means I'll just have to read the small print ;)

I have 34 points a day using Weight Watchers..
So far..

Breakfast:
A bowl of cereal and skim milk - 5 pts.

Lunch:
Instant Mashed Potatoes and tea - 7.5 pts

Snack:
Cookies and Cream weight watcher ice cream - 2 pts

Dinner:
Turkey Sandwich - 8 pts.
Tortilla chips (I really need to get baked chips!!) and salsa - 9 pts
Tea - 1.5 pts

So I've used a grand total of...33 pts. 1 pt left for a smaller weight watchers ice cream later :)


I think I did decent today...although, I noticed I need to start eatting a lot more fruit and veggies...my problem is though, I don't like them. I only like a couple veggies, and I only like a select few when it comes to fruits. :(

Good job staying within your points! I'm not really sure how the whole points system works (I've never done Weight Watchers), but from the sounds of it, you're doing a great job so far :).

I totally understand what you mean about not really liking many veggies or fruits. I think there are only a handful of each that I would even consider eating myself ^_^". Maybe you could try adding fresh strawberries and/or bananas to your cereal (or any other fruit you like). Sometimes I make a peanut butter sandwich w/ whole wheat/grain bread and put banana slices on it for a naturally sweet touch. Give it a whirl if you wanna try something new ;).

Keep up the great work!
 
Thanks for the suggestion ready2live! I've tried a banana in my cereal before and I liked it, so I think I may try it tomorrow! I don't like strawberries though :p

Yea, I don't usually like eating strawberries plain, but I find if I mix it with something else, it doesn't taste too bad ^_^".

I hope the bananas and cereal work out for ya! :D

I actually did some excerise tonight haha. Not a lot, but it was better than nothing. I rode my dads bike thing (the kind that doesn't move and the handle bar things move too)...an exercise bike!! HAHA! Sorry I couldn't think of the name. I rode it for 10 minutes and burnt a little more than 170 calories.

Like I said, I know it's not much, but it's better than nothing!
 
Every step forward is progress, even the ones that seem insignificant :)

I've never been a fan of Weight Watchers myself, it just seems like they round off calories and take off the zeroes, I prefer counting the calories myself or on SparkPeople, but I hope it works well for you!
 
Bethyness, I don't think that I could count calories lol but if that's what works for ya, them more power to you :p :)

Actually counting calories is a lot easier on . I did do it myself at first, but SparkPeople makes it really easy and I like seeing how I'm doing on fiber and sodium and such, too.
Whatever works best for you, though, I just personally prefer the calories so I can be exact, I'm kind of a perfectionist about numbers and organization XD

Well, on a good note, yesterday I think I did very well..

Breakfast:
Cereal (I would have used a banana but we didn't have any more :( )
Skim Milk

Lunch:
Mcdonalds grilled ranch blt sandwich
Mcdonalds fruit and walnut salad (w/o walnuts eww lol)
Water

Worked out for 30 minutes on an exercise bike..burnt 677 calories! (Rode for 14 miles)

"Snack":
A can of Mt. Dew

Dinner:
Homemade chicken noodle soup (with carrots and celery)
Water


So I'm about to go work out again, before I have to get ready to go do somethings before work :( lol

P.S. I've also already drank 33.8 oz of water :D
 
SHEW! Ok, I just got finished working out and I feel so energized! :D

I ate some homemade chicken noodle soup earlier today for lunch (I didn't wake up in time to eat breakfast)

And after working out it said that I rode for 30 minutes, 15.2 miles, and burnt 737 calories! :D:D

And I've drank 50.7 oz of water..I'm proud of myself :)

I think I'll treat myself to Subway or Quiznos later hehe
 
So, I decided to get Quiznos (I'm not going to eat there so often now) the subs are quite a bit of points :( But I only went 1-2 pts. over my daily allowance, and I did work out today, so I'm covered :p

I also ended up drinking (well so far anyway) 67.6 oz of water. And for dinner I had a tuna sandwich lol..(It's the only 'fish' I like)..
 
I had 2 not-so-good-days in a row, but today was better..I haven't gone over my points..

ALSO! Good news, my stomach has visibly (sp?) gotten smaller..its awesome!
