Just say no :) nancy would be so proud of you :D

Yeah, I can understand that. It's so hard to stop sometimes! Although, I'm not a Guiness girl.
Man, your food from yesterday sounded awesome. Nice work at the restaurant. You're a superhero, without a doubt.

Well, I have to thank Maleficent :)

She helped me plan the day around what I wanted to have, and accomplish with the menu!

Sounds like fun Debi! I'd love a night out...it would be make the planning and the extra calories worth it. I hate when I waste them sitting around the house. :(

OKAY....I think the jump rope gnomes are out and about....(I should post this on Randy's journal...) I have been reading about all the jump-roping and skipping going on for the week or so.

All the while, I have been busy going through junk and drawers and boxes, cleaning out and packing...and on Saturday....what do I pull out of one of our cabinets? A heavy duty jump-rope (the real deal, with wood handles). I start laughing and showing Bruce...who says...is that my jump rope from wrestling? That is a hella workout!

Not a half hour later, as I am looking out my kitchen window across the street...there is one of our neighbor kidlets in her driveway....jumping rope!

*hearing the twilight zone theme song playing in my world*

hehehehe....just had to share with ya'all.

Hi Debi.. been awhile since I stopped by your diary.. sorry for the neglect! :)

Beth is correct.. jumping rope was HUGE when I was wrestling back in the High School days.. such a good workout! Maybe now that she has dug that beast out, I'll get back into it!

Looks like you are doing a terrific job.. Keep it up!!! :D

I really want to do Tae Kwon Do again. I see its way at the top. I need to lose about 100 more pounds before I'd even attempt it.

Hi M2M; you're doing so great. I wasn't surprised to see squash at the top, I've heard it's a harder workout than racquetball. But shovelling snow...keeeeRyste, us Canadians should all be skinny!!

I swear, you always have something interesting to eat. I wish I could say the same for myself! LOL Good job!

Thanks Risty - trust me, this is all new to me too!

I'm really, really, really trying to eat fewer prepackaged foods for dinner, so I start with a fresh plan for that meal, then work backwards to fill out the rest of the day trying to hit the right amount of fiber and at least 100g of protein.

I've had less then a week's worth of practice ;)

The chicken tonight was a butterflied boneless breast of chicken wrapped around the cheese and asparagus. I got it prepared that way from the butcher - next time I'll make it myself and try different fixings and skin seasonings. Beyond yummy :D

that sounds like a delicious day. .even when you're out and about most of the day being swimming mom... no mini van right? :D you still pull that off :)

Chicken breasts are cool for being inventive like that -a nd it's good therapy to flatten out a breast too-just pound the crap out of it for a minute or two :D

I concur, that food sounds excellent. I am such a boring eater when I am adhering to the plan!

Good morning. :)

I'm generally not a very exciting eater either. I often feel like when I'm eating something really cool, there's probably a 1000 cals in it. You, Debi, make it sound like there's no restriction to it at all. All that delicious food at less than 1700 cals! Isn't it amazing? I need to start taking lessons from you. :)
Have a wonderful day, hun! Keep up the great work.
