Sorry to hear about the tranny. I think there is some evil dust being sprinkled in WLF. The good day ratio is really at an all time low in here for so many different reasons.

It took all I had to keep my head up today and largely because of you and a few others that give me the support and remind me I'm not a 'surrender' kinda guy.

At least your avatar is still smiling :)

I got over my pity party - it is what it is, and I can't change that, and you guys are right - the light at the tunnel tends to be an oncoming train.

Let's hope I can step to the side before it hits me ;)
 
hey! m2m. hope ur car troubles are over. i'm a BIG (literally) believer in "THIS TOO SHALL PASS". chin up! have a super weekend.

Yes - it's only money - and we'll get it all paid and sorted somehow - but after 6K in less then a week for 2 separate cars - I'm DONE with repair shops ;)

I need a subway ;) Public transportation really isn't viable in southern CA!

I did get some walking in yesterday - 4.8 miles while Megan was swimming. I'm not sure if it was a good idea or not - I went, got all sweaty then froze to death because I was wet and it was cold! I survived though ;)

No walking or exercising today - it's my day off - but that means I have to work - I'll be gone until later tonight.

I really hope this website works as well for me. I've only been on a few days, but I feel the support just flowing over. And on those eggs, you are NEVER to old to enjoy the holiday's. Even if you don't believe is certain icons of our days. (Easter Bunny, Santa or frankenstein) :p it's what keeps us all young, I don't care if my boys decorate eggs with me or not, I'm going to do it myself and put them in a pretty basket on the table and feel proud I did them. :) You have a FANTASTIC Weekend.

Car repairs, just something you have to take on the chin!

Some swine smashed our car window right before Christmas, £120 down the drain at the worst possible time.

Hi Debi! You're at work....I took today off....hope you have a good day....I need to get on the treadmill and "do my thing".

Yeah, cars just seem to have a way of getting into your bank account on a regular basis, but here in cali...no way to get around not having one....*sigh* Bruce and I spent last Friday evening (in the restaurant parking lot, in the dark) replacing the battery in my Liberty--thank the Lord we had driven separately cause we eneded up making one trip to get a battery and then another to get WD40 to aid in getting the dang thing outta there. sheesh.

eeek sorry about the car troubles :( Geez woman you walk A LOT! i did ,not even 2 miles and i was exhausted! Every time i get on my treadmill, i think of you and say to myself : How in the world does she do it: I remember you saying that it takes time.. but sheesh. 4.8 miles?? You must have very fit legs by now!:D
 
OK - I actually laughed out loud at the trailor thing - YES I need a trailor!

We have to be at a pancake breakfast by 8:30, which means leave by 8:00 which means I need to be in the shower by 7:00 which means I need to start my walk no later then 6...reverse engineering time is not one of my strong suits ;)

It's either that, or risk not doing it all!

Aha! I wondered what you were doing up so early. Then I wondered if it was as early as I thought. Right the first time.

I hope you have a great walk. Early mornings and evenings can be lovely.
