A Day In The Life of m2m :)

So I was mentioning this in Mal's diary - and thought I'd share it here.

I did go into a gym yesterday to get quotes on how much starting up was going to cost.

I walk through the door, let them know that I was there to get infomation on membership - and the receptionist hands me a clip board with 3 pages of questions I'm supposed to fill out.

I kindly pass that back to her and explain I wasn't there to JOIN at the moment, I was simply coming in to find out how much joining costs.

She pushes it back to me and says that I MUST fill out the form.

At this point, I drop it down on to her desk, and say "You've got to be kidding me?" "You expect people to fill out all their personal information JUST so you can give them a quote".

She went on to try and justify this by saying as soon as I cross this line on the carpet to go back to talk to one of the sales reps, that in case I fall, I have had to signe a waver, blah, blah, blah...

I left with their door swinging on the hinges....

Have I mentioned I don't particularly LIKE gyms.
 
i've often been accused of being more male than female :D

could explain why i can't walk on heels and why i don't like children and why fart jokes make me laugh :D

My gym pass was authorized back in November, still waiting for the owner to send it in.

Denying an ambitious treadmiller like myself access is unforgivable :mad:

The two calls I've made went unreturned by him. so....
 
I wasn't particularly thrilled.

It's the only gym relatively close to me - I can walk there (2 miles each way).

In a town our size, you'd think a free 300.00 would kinda make him move a lil quicker. Apparently not.


Obtw, I don't see a "G" rating in here anytime soon.
 
I would really be hounding his phone though - that's crazy!!

And the ratings...yeah, what's up with that?
I start out each day thinking I'm going to be a good girl and behave myself.

I'm not quite sure how it happens, but I really think it's the company I keep!

The submission process has like a 60-90 day limit, I'm sure I'm screwed by now.

oh my !! what next ?? passwords for diaries ?? That'll keep the unruly people out of your sanitary, squeaky clean diary :D
 
Urgh - well sorry to hear about the gym - it is one messed up situation :\

And something tells me, the unruly people will find my diary anyway!

No...no...I know the faces of my most unruly posters!
Oh wait, have we gotten before & during pictures of Star yet?

Me thinks we need to go find her diary and put our foot down!
