Hey there Miss K!
It's great to see you :D

I'm pretty blown away that One-der-land is right around the corner - hopefully by the time I finish the September 10 pound challenge. As it is, I'm 2 months ahead of where I thought I'd be by now. I thought I'd be here by 31 October!

You really are very close!! I'm so jealous of you! Weight just seems to fly off of your body!! ;) Have a great weekend!!

Thanks you guys :D

I am feeling GREAT! I walked my 5 miles this morning in 68 minutes - 13.6 minutes per mile!! This is the best I've done yet :)

I'm kicking around the idea of joining a 5K this Monday - I just keep wondering, do I *need* to spend the entry fee (a measly $15 bucks) to get a tshirt and walk 3.5 miles - when I can do my 5 miles in the morning free - would I pay $15 bucks for a tshirt I doubt I'll wear? Bob thinks I should do it, I don't know - I'll decide later today when I'm at City Hall.

Last week, I averaged 1066 calories per day. It was a low week calorie wise, but those calories were packed with nutrition - I plan on upping them this week. I walked a total of 28.5 miles for the week.

Recap of Goals for week of 8/26
1. 9.5 miles on my Endurance Walk
2. Lose 2 pounds
3. Xtrain 3 times
4. Walk 24 miles
5. Drink 100oz a day
6. Be committed to writing down my calories.

1. 9.5 miles walked (17.06 minutes per mile)
2. Lost 3 pounds
3. One cross training only :\
4. Walked 28.5 miles
5. Drank 84 oz water a day
6. Wrote down all my calories.

Goals for week of 9/2
1. Walk 10.5 miles on Endurance Walk
2. Walk 25 miles during the week
3. X-train *3* times
4. Drink *100* oz water

I have officially been at my half way mark for a couple of days! I plan on taking some pictures today and posting them!

You've worked so very hard for your trip to Onederland - mmmm trip ?? let's try permanent relocation ;) :)

You so kick my butt in the exercise dept !!

M2M ~ A huge congratulations on reaching your 1/2 way mark! How happy you must be!
A permanent relocation as T2 suggested, sounds wonderful!
Look out one-der-land here comes M2M ........ Yay!

Can't wait to see those pics m2m. And congrats on the halfway mark!! That's awesome. :p

I like how you post your total miles walked for the week. Think I might borrow that idea.

Great job M2M!!! Your ticker moves everytime I look at it!! You are amazing!! Hope you're having a great weekend!!

So I just went to the before and after picture thread to look and see if you posted any pictures. Well, I saw a post my MDM and was like oh there it is but when I clicked on it it was a guy! haha. I was like I thought she was a girl! That's what her avatar is!! Man... it actually took me a few minutes to realize my mistake.....

Thanks you guys :)

Bob took some pictures yesterday of me in my old pants, and tried to recreate a picture taken wearing the same clothes 50+ pounds ago. Unfortunately, I don't like how they look ;) I had just come back from my morning walk, jumped out of the shower and barely had time to brush my hair before he was setting up.

I plan on having him take a picture of me in regular clothes, and once he does, I'll post the whole lot. Maybe tomorrow :D

I went for my Endurance Walk this morning - I normally go Sunday evening, but had to do it this morning since we're going out tonight.

I went 10.5 miles and averaged 16.6 minutes per mile. It was a LONG walk - my iPod lost battery 3.5 miles from home! You know, once the music was gone, I started noticing how hot it was (85F), how sore my feet were, how tight my bra felt, how annoying the grasshoppers were...you name it! Music sure makes a difference!

Anyway, I'll get those pictures up soon - and hf - too funny about MDM!

I'll chat with you guys later,

What an inspiration!

You are doing such an amazing job! I LOVE the way you share your goals - and you are so diligent in meeting them every week! That's probably why your ticker is flying to the right! Way to go!! :D

I know how you feel... last week I was actually going to go for a run, but found my ipod was dead. I rely heavily on my tunes to keep me going when running, jogging and walking. If it wasn't so dangerous I'd probably bike with my ipod too.... but I love life, and feel that listening for the log trucks and crazy tourists rumbling behind me is far more important :D

congrats on the 10.5 miles.... very impressed

lol. music DOES make all the difference!
Can't wait to see you have the pics up M2M! I bet you look fabulous.
Congrats on reaching your 50 pound weightloss. I've plateau-ed since FOREVER. I wish I can zoom pass it like you. :)

mike, you can bike with an ipod - just keep the sound lower so you can hear whats going on around you and its not blaring so much. I got one of those ipod armours and modified it to sit on my bike.

,

Oh yeah when the music goes out I notice all those things...well except my bra being too tight. My Itunes do help keep me going. Keep up the great work on the exercise.
