Good Morning Eveyrone :)

I walked two miles this morning - I LOVE it!! I had been walking in the evening, and it's always hit or miss whether or not I could get out, but walking at 6:30 in the morning is cool, refreshing, invigorating and it gets done!! I meet a friend half way and we walk a bit together then head home. Our current plan is to do it every morning :D

I'm going to go shopping today for shoes, those sandles rub holes in my skin - so I walked a bit slower today then yesterday ;) I might have to pick up some shorts as well. I stood in the kitchen this morning with Bob and was able to pull my shorts down without unbuttoning them. Woo Hoo!

And I'm *really* looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in and report - after no losing any weight last week, I'm ready to change my ticker!!!
 
Woah- pulling your shorts down in the kitchen! lol j/k ;)

I can't wait to see how your weigh-in goes tomorrow morning. From all the walking you've been doing, I bet you say goodbye to 230! :)
 
yesss another dave link.

being able to pull your pants off without unbuttoning is the best feeling in the world. i did that with my skirt yesterday. but now its annoying because i have three skirts that are starting to be seriously loose on me.

Congrats on getting nekkid in the kitchen, M2M! Talk about rewarding yourself!

You are inspiring me to try walking early again. I just have done NO exercise at all this summer, and I'm ready to get started. I think I'll set the clock for 6:15 and walk "with" you tomorrow.

Summer, I have a great light recipe for "stuffed" turkey breast. I'm planning to make it for Thanksgiving (yes, I DO obsess about food a bit--it's July and my Thanksgiving menu is almost complete :) ) I'll try to post it in the recipe section this weekend.

Keep it up, M2M! You are going to SO love that scale tomorrow!
 
Hi, m2m! Just stopping by to see how you're doing. Looks like you're doing great! You go girl! You're on a roll! Keep up with the morning walking. I used to walk in the morning, too, and I really enjoyed the freshness of the early morning. Very uplifting! But now it's easier for me to walk in the evening because I like to sleep in too much. :D Hope you find some good walking shoes, because something tells me you're going to use them alot! Keep up the great work!
 
Hi Everyone :)

Well, I wasn't exactly nekkid in the kitchen - they were just brought down to mid thighs - but Bob went and mimicked me and we pranced through the living room pretending to be "teens" oh...my...all I can say is I'm glad Megan didn't wake up!

The early freshness of the morning definitely invigorates me, and peeking at the scale does motivate me to keep seeing progress!

I have never felt more confident about losing weight :D I feel good, love the fact that my clothes are falling off, and can't WAIT to be able to move my ticker - it's been two weeks! Twin, I'm keeping an eye on your ticker hoping to see it go down some time today!

Summer, I'll go to your diary next with that link!
 
Okay, here it is! 226! I hope you find some awesome shoes and have a GREAT weigh in tomorrow!!! That is too cool about your pants falling down! :D

M2M, Congrats on the pants. I'm glad you enjoy walking in the morning. I heard taking a walk in the morning, helps you feel better all day long. It's so great that you feel confident about losing weight. I can't wait to hear what your scale says!

OMG! That is so funny! Have y'all seen that last one that is at band camp? It is hilarious! We had seen it right before my son comes in and says he wants to play the TUBA in the school band next year! ROFL! He finally decided he wanted to play the sax instead. Phew! ;)

HH, I haven't even checked out the clubs yet, I'll go look now...

As for today, I haven't eaten enough calories yet, it's 8:33 pm and I've had 673 calories - I really don't want to eat this late, but I also don't want to leave it at half my calories for the day either...

I had
7:30 (after my walk)
nutrition shake - 180 calories
10:30
Large Tomato - 38
2:30
Apple - 75
4:30
Large Pria Bar 170
6:30
3oz Jerky -210

(spread out throughout the day, even the apple was took over an hour to finish, snacking on it while on the phone)

With my 437.7 calories burned during my 4km walk this morning, I'm entirely too low for the day. Funny, I don't think I've ever had this problem in my LIFE!

So, I'll probably find something lite and have it then stay up longer ;)
 
OH yes! I picked up some tennis shoes today and the timing couldn't be better, my shins hurt from this morning's walk, and I have not blisters, but kind of holes in my feet where the seams rubbed my feet. I really couldn't keep doing that!

Don't do what I did and walk 2 1/2 miles the first time out in your new sneakers. I'm not used to having to break in walking shoes, because I never did this much walking before! Go about a mile and quit the first couple of nights so you don't get more blisters! :)
 
Ack - I don't have time to break them in - I meet a friend of mine a little over a mile from my home at 6:45 AM every morning now.

She'll be waiting for me ;)

So, I'll take some band aids just in case!

OK, my daily intake for today is 895 (up from 673 1.5 hours ago)

I'm stopping for the day, I really don't want to eat anything else this close to going to sleep - and I'm [...this close...] to falling asleep ;)

No worries, I don't typically eat like this, and have no intention of eating like this again tomorrow!

Good Morning :D

I get to move my ticker!! I did actually see 226.8, however, this morning after my walk, it was 227.0 so I'm moving it down 3 pounds.

I put in 2.5 miles for 539 calories burned by 7:00 am - it feels SO good to start out the day like this!!

Way hey 3lbs in a week is excellent, I wish I had the motivation to get out early and do stuff like walking. This morning I woke up and it was lovely outside and I did think I could go for an early morning bike ride. I wound up doing the house work instead, I had a few goldfish looking at me mournfully to get me to clean their tank.:rolleyes:
