Monday Workout

Saw your workout. Looks like you are kickin' tail.

I wish I knew enough about maintenance and taking breaks to offer advice about how to rev up your metabolism, but you have my encouragement and support anyway.

I think I'll read up on it. Personally I'm going to work on strength training and fitness through walking and running - what I used to do. To trim the fat.

You look beautiful in your pics, and your personality is, well, you are a unique and special person. If I have time for nothing else online, I try to find time to pop by your diary (for little gems) whether I post or not.

Thank you!

it deff wouldnt be a "backwards step" if you gained a small amount m2m because in the long run it would be moving you towards losing a lot more weight. youd be in a much better position than to begin with. :) anyway dont get too disheartened ... think about what advice you would give you if you were another person on this forum :) xxxx

The big picture is you're still a smaller picture :)

The annoyance phase sucks and I totally agree with 'obese thinking' comment. It is the nature of our beast equally. I guess we train ourselves to believe loss is our only way of saying we're successful.

The people who viewed your B&A Saturday saw a HUGE success :)

Hi Debi...read your posts, and can relate to your frustration.

I just checked my calendar and for 5 weeks, my weight went up and down with the same 4 pounds. Then I gained three pounds!!! I was so depressed and discouraged. BUT, after that, it steadily began dropping. And has dropped 6 pounds over the lowest point I weighed before it went up. For me, it was adding some calories that spurned the change. I didn't add a lot....and did it slowly over the course of a week...the next thing I knew I was losing again!

Thanks for all the support you guys! It means a lot!

Now - that pizza ad at the bottom of the page is really annoying me...
The text is:
"Forget counting calories and fad dieting... Get real and effective weightloss help to achieve a better body!"

So...counting calories is considered right up there with Fad Diets?
And pizza + anything equals a bikini body?

Oh brother

Speaking of pizza...here is the pizza Bruce and I are addicted to. Its 260 calories for 1/3 of the pizza...of course it is the paper thin crust that limits the calories...but it is really delicious too! I just realized that this company makes other "Primo thin crust" varieties...we get this one at Costco.

Hmmm...that looks yummy Bethann :)
Trader Joe's makes one with gouda and carmelized onions that's on a thin crust too mmmmmmmm!

Sounds good, Debi....we love Trader Joes!!!!! As long as I can get my pizza fix in...its all good! I made one with a flour tortilla heated in a hot pan and topped it with fresh veggies and cheese...I think it was like 310 calories! It was yummy and guilt free!

See...i have a hard time calling it pizza if it's not from a *deep* dish ;)
I just need to rethink this mind set though;)

I prefer a thin crust; makes it more crunchy. What does Gouda cheese taste like compared to Mozzarella? I noticed that we can buy it here now (I know, we're a bit slow), and was thinking of trying it.

Weird conversation--I just had thin and crispy crust white pizza for dinner. Its from California Pizza Kitchen and it does have marginal veggie qualities from the spinach. 1/3 of the piza has 290 calories. It wasn't bad and sated my pizza fix.

I love pizza :D
Although even our home made ones come in at 800 cals for half, yikes!
Maybe I should see if they sell some of these ones you guys are talking about in the UK

Gouda is really nothing like mozarella - mozzarella has a milky creamy texture gouda is probably closer to a really mild non aged cheddar cheese... It's got a lovely flavor and melts beautifully - ad is ice on a pizza but it's not mozzarella

But I am a mozzarella snob, if it's not fresh made - and by fresh made I mean it came out of the tub less than ahour ago - it's not mozzarella.. :D

I might be of Irish decent, but I lived in a very very Italian area of northern new jersey for a long while -you couldt swing a dead cat without hitting a really really good italian deli... and saturday morning the little old guido ladies would line up for the fresh mozarella -I would just follow them :) I was converted the crap sold in grocery stores is like rubber.. it's gotta be fresh..

they might make a low fat version but it's not super high i calories so as the occasional treat who cares- i think it's just over 100 calories an ounce... it's a really nice mild cheese -and melts well...

Pizza's one of those foods I really miss! I haven't had one in 6 months. My next cheat meal, I think I'll do that.

Hey, don't know who started the pizza/Gouda post, but I'm ALL IN on this one. LOVE GOUDA!! Actually I buy it by the brick or round from Sam's club and usually end up eating it with a few light crackers and a glass of Merlot. It's such a fresh cheese, I've never had it on Pizza will have to try that one. M2M I need to stop reading your posts early in the morning, I leave starving!!! I need to find this post I read a week ago about home made pizza and put it on here, I remember it was low calorie, but still packed full of veggies and nutrients. :D
