A crazy "burrito" that tastes amazing...

OK, this may sound really weird, but I experimented with a snack and I absolutely love it!

Take one whole wheat tortilla (I have some that are only 50 cal with 5 grams of fiber), half a banana, and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter. Wrap it up and you have a tasty snack with complex carbs, lots of protein, and the right fats! Add blueberries for a tastier kick.

It comes out to about 200-250 calories and is very filling. If you can get yourself to try it, you may be surprised.

sounds EFF'n amazing....*runs out to buy tortillas*

Hi guys! I'll replace the banana with strawberries, that sounds good.

I'm not sure how 'healthy' this is but when I was little my mom used to take radishes and slice the tops in quarters-about half way through (do not cut through, just make it look like a little flower) then sprinkle a few pinches of sugar (or splenda) and let it sit at room temperature for a few hours. The sugar gets soaked and it tastes good, it was an alternative to candy I guess LOL.

Other than the wheat tortilla part (Haven't tried one, but figured it would be a little dry?), that actually sounds extremely tasty. But, would this be something you could eat more than once throughout the day? Or maybe a PWO snack, possibly post? I know I absolutely love to slice bananas and put butter on two pieces of bread and then put the bananas on (Pretty unhealthy but damn good to eat. LoL)....So would using natty pb be the best possible scenario? And if using regular pb, the only 1 tablespoon wouldn't be too bad, would it?

OMG this is soooo good! Eating it right now. Here's what I did:

mash these together:
Half a banana
One scoop of aria's vanilla protein
I tablespoon of Bettern'peanut butter

then put in:
1 low-carb wheat tortilla (I use Tumaro's)

then coat in and out of totilla with splenda and cinnamon (to taste)

fry in pan for a minute or so on both sides (just to warm) then stick in microwave for 10 seconds to make sure it's warm but not all melted.

calories about - 250
fat - 5 grams
carbs - 35
fiber - 10
Protein - 17 grams

Thanks for the idea! It's very yummy! Now that I'm eating it a few blueberries sounds like a good idea too!

A regular frying pan or skillet :)

I just put the cinammon and splenda inside and skipped the pan. Went straight into the microwave and tasted great! I love this snack. Tasty and healthy. WHo knew something like this existed?!

I used to make this all the time for a yummy sweet-craving. Tastes kind of like a peanut butter and banana sandwich, but a little chewier. I nuked the tortilla version, but grilled the bread version.
