I am 30 yrs old, female, 120 lbs. I have performed cardio and weight training for about 2 years, now, and just have some final areas that need reshaping before I start building. My midsection is genetically thick and my uper thighs need to be a bit thinner. Should I increase my cardio workout temporarily in order to accomplish this task? Would it be detrimental to my weight training to increase cardio and decrease weights for a little while? I do approximately 1 1/2 hours of cardio per week and 2 1/2 hours of weight training right now.
